Make-A-Wish Canada

Make-A-Wish CanadaWestJet is providing the gift of flight in support of travel wish granting activities nationwide for Make-A-Wish® Canada through its community investment program, WestJet Cares for Kids. Additionally, WestJet has customized a unique guest experience creating the ultimate wish experience for all Make-A-Wish® children and their families traveling via WestJet!

Make-A-Wish Canada grants wishes to children between the ages of three and 17 with life-threatening medical conditions. Each wish granted allows children and their families time for togetherness, time to dream, and time to realize that miracles can and do happen. WestJet's goal through partnering with Make-A-Wish in Canada is to provide this small act of kindness to help transform the lives of children and the world.

Make-A-Wish Canada is part of the largest wish granting foundation in the world, serving over 36 countries with international affiliates on five continents. Since inception in 1980, Make-A-Wish has helped make over 280,000 wishes come true for children around the world. To learn more please visit makeawish.ca - and help share the power of a wish®!

My son Jonathan’s one true wish was to visit Walt Disney World. Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his wish came true. We flew down to Orlando on WestJet and were amazed by the customer service we received. At the Toronto airport, we were met by Imram, one of WestJet's representatives. Imram was so good to our family. He helped us find our way around the airport, he carried our baggage, and bought us our breakfast; Imram was totally wonderful to us!! On our way back home a week later, as we were getting ready to board our airplane from Toronto to Deer Lake, he saw us from across the airport and made a point to come and see us to ask how our trip was. He even helped us board the airplane! He was so awesome and one of the highlights of our trip. We will never forget how great all your employees were to us, especially Imram. WestJet went above and beyond and for that we are eternally grateful.

- Thank you, The Ryan family
