Allergy notice
If you are allergic to nuts, peanuts, nut products or tree nuts please self-identify at the time of booking, at check-in and notify inflight crew upon boarding any of our aircraft.
WestJet food products do not directly contain peanut and/or derivatives; however, some items may contain traces of peanuts from manufacturing processes. We cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen in our food. If you have a specific concern, please discuss with a cabin crew member.

Your onboard food and beverage menu is based on your flight duration, aircraft type servicing your flight, and destination. Onboard the flight, your cabin crew can answer any additional questions about product ingredients and availability.

Special meal requests cannot be fulfilled if you upgrade to the Premium or Business cabin after checking in for your flight. Special meals are not available on Boeing 737 Transatlantic flights. |

If you require one of the 8 special meals available, please contact our call centre with your booking reference up to 24 hours before departure to have this added to your reservation.

We are unable to customize onboard meals, and special meals cannot be combined. If you have specific requirements that are not met by the meal options below, we encourage you to bring your own meals and snacks.

Child Meal |
Suitable for children between 2 and 7 years old, this meal includes easily identifiable foods. These food items are easy to for children to bite and chew, and come in a variety of healthy and indulgent choices. |
Diabetic Meal |
Meals for those who need to manage blood sugar levels. Suitable for both non-insulin and insulin-dependent diabetics. Sugar is not used in the preparation of this meal. Salt — in restricted quantity — is added. The meal includes complex carbohydrates, high fibre, and low fat / calories. |
Gluten Intolerant Meal |
No wheat, rye, barley, oats and bran in any form (including food items which may contain such ingredients) are served for this meal. Ingredients used for this meal are selected for the absence of gluten. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the meal is 100% gluten-free. |
Hindu Meal (Non-Vegetarian) |
This meal is non-vegetarian and contains meat (lamb, poultry), fish, and/or dairy products. It is a non-vegetarian meal suitable for those who do not consume beef, veal, pork, smoked or raw fish. Typically, (whether spicy or curried) its preparation and cooking style may vary. |
Kosher Meal |
Kosher meals are prepared by kosher caterers under rabbinical supervision. Meals will be sealed. Special Kosher meals are supplied during Passover. |
Muslim Meal |
No alcohol, pork, pig byproducts, ham or bacon is used in the preparation of this meal. Its preparation and cooking style may vary. |
Lactose-Free Meal |
This meal excludes foods which contain milk, dry milk solids, casein, cheese, cream, butter, lactose and margarine. |
Vegan Meal |
Typically cooked in Western style, this meal does not contain meat, seafood, egg or dairy products. |

Where can I get a receipt?
If you made a purchase on a past flight and need a receipt, you can search for your receipt online here.
Can I pre-purchase a meal before boarding my flight?
At this time guests cannot pre-purchase meals for our flights. We are working hard to bring this option back for guests. We will continue to update details here and on our booking pages.
Can I buy duty-free items on board?
At this time WestJet is not offering duty-free items for purchase onboard our flights.
