GREAT restaurant in the resort KYOTO

Myrna gave us an excelent and exclusive service. The food was brilliant and the place was beautiful, environment Japanese 10/10! Duck course was delicious. Try the fried ice cream as dessert, you are not going to regret it… The other waitresses were VERY funny and attentive as well, specially Jazon:) My family and i are 100% coming back.
Just ok. Nice pool area but nowhere to sit.

Giving this resort 3 because of it’s location and ease of checking out the town only steps away from the resort. The Barcelo it’s self fell short in many areas. The rooms: Had a suite. In our initial suite, one of the rooms couldn’t keep up with the heat and everything was damp. We learned that the people before us likely left the balcony door open and it takes a long time to recover from that. The staff handled it well, changing our rooms with no problem. I wish we would have gotten the cleaning lady’s name because the room was taken care if really well and cleaned thoroughly. Both bathroom seats were barely hanging on. The main issues were the outside chair availability and food options. The resort simply didn’t have enough chairs for it’s guests. You are forced to be down at the pool or beach to reserve a seat at 5:30 am. The hotel has signs that you can’t save pool seats fir mote than 2 hours but it’s not enforced. The food options seamed nice at first. However the buffets never change their menus. Same breakfast lunch and dinner every day. Stayed 7 days and the hibachi was sold our for the week on our arrival. Was really disappointed that there was no food available at the bar/tiki. If you want a snack during the day you must go into a restaurant and get a table. Staff was very nice and extremely hard working but the Barcelo falls short of being an all inclusive with a variety of amenities.
