Welcome to the Hotel Inglaterra - the oldest hotel in Cuba and one of the most well-known and emblematic of Havana. It was founded on December 23, 1875, and declared National Monument in 1981. In all these years it has hosted famous figures of the world of entertainment and letters such as Enrico Caruso, Federico García Lorca, Rubén Darío, Frei Betto, Winston Churchill, or world-class athletes José Raúl Capablanca, monarch of the chess world, and Ramón Font, among others
Located in the center of Havana, in the Paseo del Prado, the Hotel Inglaterra is one of the most important spots in the city, situated right in front of Central Park, next to the Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso (home of the National Ballet of Cuba) and a few steps from the imposing National Capitol, the Hotel Inglaterra becomes a strategic point from which you can discover the charm of the colonial city. The rooftop offers excellent views of the city. Nearest sites of interest include the Alicia Alonso Grand National Theater, the Fine Arts National Museum, Central Park Square, the National Capitol, Floridita Restaurant-Bar, Parque de la Fraternidad Square and not to be missed, Old Havana, with its great architectural, cultural and environmental value, constitutes the most impressive historic city center in the Caribbean, and one of the most remarkable in the American continent.

**Rating:** ????? Staying at the Hotel Inglaterra was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. The historic charm of the building is breathtaking – every corner tells a story, yet the rooms are beautifully maintained with modern comforts. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of Parque Central and the Capitolio. The location is unbeatable – steps away from Old Havana’s vibrant streets, live music, and iconic landmarks. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, with delicious options and a lively atmosphere. Special thanks to the concierge team for their excellent recommendations (the salsa night they suggested was a highlight!). If you want history, culture, and true Cuban hospitality, this is the place. We’ll be back!
