Beginning Aug. 5, 2024, Wailana Pool at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa will once again become an adult-only pool, offering a more relaxed and tranquil space for Guests and Disney Vacation Club Members ages 18 and over. As part of this change, the cabanas located at Wailana Pool will also be available exclusively for Guests and Members ages 18 and over. ‘Alohi Point whirlpool spa will continue to be an adult-only area. All other pool amenities within the Waikolohe Valley are available for the entire family to enjoy. Family cabanas are available to rent at Keiki Cove, Menehune Bridge and Ka Maka Landing.
Overview
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is a family paradise offering a touch of magic for young and old alike. Terrible service from Mike in Valet.

I usually have no problems when it comes to making drop offs as an Uber driver here at the Aulani resort. However, this last drop off I made wasn't so great, as I was rudely approached and lectured by a valet staff member by the name of Mike. He told me that because the riders I dropped off were my guest, that I should be unloading their bag, not him. My thoughts are, 'Isn't that you're job as a valet?! I don't work in the tourism or customer service industry; I work in trans-portation. Just doesn't seem right that he would tell it's my job. As a hotel worker, I would think he would have a little more Aloha and be an Ambassador of it. It's not like they were understaffed either, in which I would understand. There were a lot of Valet workers. It seems as though he was just making an excuse not to do his job.

As usual on my Tripadvisor hotel reviews, I’ve done a video to help Tripadvisor readers - search ‘wakeywarrior’ on YouTube to see a full speedy orientation and all you need to know, in that lasts around 7.5 minutes. Anyway, hotel is stunning. Amazing views, beautiful building, good quick serve and pool bar. Fabulous bays and beaches outside. Great staff. Special shout out to the two ladies and Marine chap fitness instructors who put on great fitness classes every morning at the beach- circuit training, slam ball, yoga etc. They made the holiday for us. My only complaint is there are not enough pool chairs and it’s virtually impossible to get 4 together unless you are down by 8am, and even then we had people stealing our chairs when we got up to go in the pool etc. Disney need to expand the number of chairs quite dramatically, everyone was complaining. Not acceptable at this price point. Apart from that, it’s excellent.
