WestJet is pleased to offer an unaccompanied-minor program for children, aged 8 to 17, who are travelling without an adult who is at least 16 years of age.
WestJet's guidelines permit children:
- under the age of 5 to travel with their parent or a person who is at least 16 years of age, and
- over the age of 5 but less than 12 years of age to travel with anyone that is 16 years of age or older
Still, many parents and guardians want the reassurance that comes with using our unaccompanied minor program.
