Epcot Area Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for our Disney trip. We weren't travelling with young kids so we appreciated that this Disney hotel was more 'business' than the standard 'Disney' hotel. Our plan was to go to the parks first thing and stay until the parks closed. To that end, this hotel is well situated for both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Check-in was quick and all the benefits of staying at a Disney property were explained. The room was quiet, comfortable, and we were fortunate to be able to see the Epcot fireworks on the first night from our room. To go to the parks, there is a short walk to the boat that takes you to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios - the buses to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom load at the covered walkway at the hotel. On the last day, the hotel allowed us a late check-out, even though they didn't have to, so we were able to spend a little more time at Epcot before our flight. It was greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Great Disney hotel without the chaos of the big properties

We loved our 3 night stay at the Swan Reserve. We did 3 days in disney and wanted to be on property but not in one of the massive hotels. The Swan was perfect, small botique style hotel with very friendly staff. There is a great coffee shop for breakfast before the part and a great restaurant on site. We had an epcot facing room and you can see both epcot and magic kingdom fireworks which was fun. You are a few minutes walk across the street to leverage all the ammenities of the Swan and Dolphin if you want. We walked to boardwalk hotel for dinner, took the ferry to epcot and the hotel busses to Magic Kindom and Animal Kingdom which were super efficient. Check in was a bit crazy as the hotel was sold out. However, I want to note how kind and thoughtful the front desk staff was even though there were some Karen's loosing their mind about being 5 minutes past four for checkin. They gave us a property key and we lounged at the pool until our room was ready (we can a bit early). Ryan (tall guy at the front desk) helped us numerous times and was so kind, thank you!
