We really enjoyed our stay. Close to a lot of amenities. The place is great. Beautiful beach and the sunset is a site to behold. Food is 4/5. Housekeeping is 5/5. Entertainment 3.5/5. Service needs to improve as there’s not enough staff to take care of the guests specially the bar and restaurant. Though overall it’s a fun place to be for family.

This was on the lower cost end of CheapCarribean resorts so keep that in mind. Pros: Rooms cleaned well as was pool (poolside kept clean throughout the day, free of empty cups, etc) Leo was very welcoming and overall staff was just very friendly Paulina, Anahi and Luis of entertainment staff were fantastic! Overall servers and bartenders were great Pool was awesome and they take such good care of it Lovely beach right past resort, super soft sand Lots of variety at buffet especially Burgers and hotdogs at snack shack for lunch were yummy Variety in events (the crazy game is a hoot each day) Kids had a great time and enjoyed being able to order drinks (non alcoholic) themselves Felt very safe Cons: Entertainment was poorly advertised so even if we knew what was happening, we didn't know where, but one night there was a special dinner before show that was not advertised any where Our fridge in room never got restocked The kids beds had no blankets (only fitted sheet) The drinks were not ever real fruit juice, tasted highly of artificial sweetener and looked like Tampico punch bottles for "juice" (however bartenders made a huge variety of things) No gaming room we could find that had been advertised on CheapCarribean and didn't give bottle in room as advertised We had zero hot water for our entire 5 day trip, at best we got luke warm water

The room was okay, the device was good. But the food was bad, very bad! I understand most all inclusive hotels are buffet style but sunscape had the most repetitive food experience in all their restaurants. Coffee tasted old so I didn’t even have coffee the week we were there. The cafe is good they had small snacks that were actually really good. Not bad but definitely not the greatest hotel

The resort was great for families . Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice resort. Good food options .

Love the Sunscape Puerto Vallarta. Their dining options are awesome, their service are amazing, and the location offers a secure place to stay and relax.
