Had a small issue getting the rooms we had requested for our family(needed 3 rooms) but overall grounds were lovely, beach was nice and food and drink were very good. A smile, thank you and a small tip to great service go along way here!

We spent 4 nights at this resort. 1. Service was good. I was worried about the service after reading the reviews, but I found it to be good. Staff were friendly and happy to help you. Of course, tipping also helps. 2. Beach was great. When we got the room, the picture had a view of the ocean from the terrace, but when we actually checked-in, no such views. 3. Food was average. La Cathedral: Tried breakfast and dinner here, it was bad, except for a few grilled items. 2/5 Bamboo: This was one the worst foods I have ever eaten. 1/5. I would give minus ratings if it were not for the decent sushi. Bhogali: Salmon and lamb were great, rest were ok. 3.5/5 La Uva: Close by the beach, food was ok for what it was. 3/5 Behique: We only ate lunch here, and it was easily 1000 times better than La Cathedral. Those grilled lamb chops were great. Also, it's by the pool. 4/5 La Lola: It was ok. 3/5 4. The resort is huge, but there is a trolley. It's hard to figure out how to use it, though.

I'm confused about why other reviews say the food is good.  It was mostly below average in taste and sometimes quality. The only restaurants comparable to the outside world were Boghali (Indian) and the Bamboo cold bar/appetizers.  The service was also so slow, you can't get in and out of dinner at the reservation restaurants in less than 2 hours.  The wait staff at the buffets are either overwhelmed or just really slow.  They sometimes don't offer drinks, even water.  It is often faster for you to just go to the water machine and get it yourself.  I would also expect the English of staff to be better, it was minimal at best, expect for front desk staff and of course the employees trying to sell you the membership.  I speak Spanish as well, and sometimes it was still hard to communicate with staff.   Palladium has this fancy app to use, unfortunately it never gets updated when events are canceled or restaurants closed.  The best part of the hotel and what made it worth it was the facilities. All the pools were nice, activities to do, the landscaping was beautiful, the architecture and decor of restaurants and lobbies were beautiful and modern, the beach was amazing as well and so accessible.  Such a great set up.

Great service and atmosphere it was a great time together and we enjoyed the food and servixr the whole time. I would recommend going here to all my friends and the Grand Palladium is a definite must come back. We are looking forward to booking our next stay here at the Grand Palladium. Yinerka was veey nice, helpful and friendly.
