We booked this hotel because the reviews were good. We loved the location. It was in the center of a very walkable beach. The first week was perfect for swimming but the second week the waves were way to big and the black flag was up. There is only one pool and the resort caters to families so there were a lot of kids in the pool all the time. There's a swim up bar. People sat there all day and didn't leave the pool....hmm! We had a beautiful room with a view of the resort and the sunset. We got upgraded to the Sunclub, so we had access to the special beach section with the more comfortable chairs, beach service, and access to the restaurants near the beach for breakfast and lunch. The Sun lounge inside was where we went for drinks in the evening. The staff was very friendly. We did tip, so our service was good. Not sure if it makes a difference. We were at the end of the tourist season. There were probably more local than tourists from abroad. The food was okay. We chose to eat a la carte when possible. Because we were at the end of the season, the options were limited. At one point, probably 40 percent of the hotel occupants had a stomach ailment. My husband got antibiotics and was better after 3 days. We suspect the sald bar. In the evenings, we mostly sat on our balcony. The inside lounge was too stuffy and we like to sit outside. It would be a good idea to get rid of the very loud dusco and keep the bar by the beach open in the evenings. The temperature is perfect for sitting outside. They could set up some tables and have the perfect area for a relaxing evening. This was what we missed the most in this resort. I guess it doesn't really cater to couples and more so towards families. All Saud, we really enjoyed our stay and if the price is right we will go back.

The resort and location were lovely; however, the food was only satisfactory. There was ample selection; but, I was not pleased with the quality.
