The FORMULA 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is held annually during the third weekend of November.
Road closures, including Las Vegas Boulevard, Sands Avenue, Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Access by vehicle will be restricted during these times and increased travel times and delays may occur especially between the hours of 5pm – 2am.
Las Vegas Boulevard pedestrian walkways and bridges will be available around the clock.
During race times it is recommended to use these walkways and pedestrian bridges to travel within the resort corridor.
RIDESHARE / TAXI SERVICES If you arrive prior to Road Closure times (5 p.m.), rideshare and taxi services will be able to access the property as usual, but you should still allow more time to complete your trip. If you are arriving between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. on race days and using a rideshare or taxi service, you will be dropped off at the designated Hotel Shuttle Drop Off Area then transferred to your lodging property. If departing during race times via rideshare or taxi services, shuttles will be available on a limited basis to take you to the satellite rideshare and taxi service departure location.

Crockford: for work - Yes, for personal trip - No

For context, this was a trip with friends for a special occasion - not a work stay. The Crockford actually had more things that I appreciated than I expected. Pro: 1. Coffee machine in the room - yes, it made crappy coffee. but if you're like me, crappy coffee is an enabler to go and get much better coffee. 2. Loved the artwork! See pic for sample. 3. Having 2 other hotels in the same property was terrific when doing a mid-week happy hour crawl! Con: 1. Really not a convenient location, it's a $20 uber or cab ride to the south end of the strip. 2. Take a look at the photos of the room decor on their site before you book. I didn't know there were that many colors of brown and grey. 3. If a trade show or other event is going on at the convention center, expect crowds in the elevators, restaurants, etc. Overall, if you can get a deal - a solid choice Would I stay there again? Probably not.

We went for a convention at the convention center, so the location was great for that - but going anywhere else was at least $20+ or 20mins walking. The turn down and maid service was excellent. The rooms were very nice and they had a massage gun we could use after a long day of walking everywhere. I didn't really like the room service options though.
