Not 5* more like a 4* the food was not that great the restaurants were much better mainly the Blue Moon, the Steak house and the Japanese we did those restaurants twice the main buffet Mercado was ok but nothing to write home about they need to put a little more spices on their food and not overcook it. The chicken tasted more like game meat. We stayed in building 12 and had a butler Elizabeth who was amazing she did so much for us and was always available and very attentive. The buildings need some updating the adult pool was nice it was quiet and not many people which I loved. The restaurant for the Privilege guests was good for the breakfast buffet and our server Francis was also amazing we really loved her she would bring my friend Mimosa's without us having to ask she is truly a great server. everything in the shop was expensive and mainly $59.99 u.s. When you first arrive don't get sucked in to the timeshare(points) meeting say No they want $30,000 for that. Last but not least we had money stolen from us directly out of the locked safe we reported it they said they would do an investigation but we heard nothing back and they sent us a bottle of wine we should have at least been compensated with something else maybe a free stay or I would have even settled for a free $165 U.S massage. I will not be going back there for our next Punta Cana trip.
SALES SCAM & HARASSMENT

This resort tries to sell you some timeshare. A simple no, will not suffice. They are pushy and want you to go to the lighthouse to be part of a half a day meeting where staff tries to upgrade you. Luckily, we did not fall for it . But 2 days later a sales rep was looking for us to bring us to said meeting, I mean harassing is an understatement! We were trying to avoid her and she appeared where we were going to eat and called from our room incessantly. Had to unplug our hotel room phone so she would stop calling. MGMT PLEASE STOP THIS, if somebody says THEY DO NOT WANT TO ATTEND the presentation that should be respected. My boyfriend also received a cryptic whatsapp message (from phone number: 829-973-9379) saying that the evil eye was placed on him, because the Rep SCARLY was mad we didn't go to the presentation. She came to the room twice, and had front desk call the room multiple times to get us to go. She even followed us to breakfast at PEZDAMA by the lighthouse it was crazy. The mgmt should look at their camera system so they can see for themselves. YOU CANNOT MAKE IT UP, RUN AWAY AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN. Do not book
