Really good (and not so much)!

BillyTP_13 (Middlesbrough, United Kingdom) on Dec 14, 2025

+ve Location - nice walks along the boardwalk and into Bridgetown and St Lawrence Gap. Beachfront - wonderful beach with inclusive beds and umbrella Some lovely staff members were friendly, warm and welcoming. The guys on the beach were class! Our stay included continental breakfast was fine; we occasionally upgraded for about £10 each to get eggs -ve Some areas are looking rather tired: Pool area - some filthy beds and the pool edging needs replacing (bordering dangerous!) Some staff weren’t friendly, warm and welcoming! Coffee machine at breakfast is a Nespresso pod and rarely worked Rooms feel like they need a deep clean, areas like the floor by the skirting and the bathroom floor need some attention

Stay clear. This is a 2 star at best. Miserable grumpy women in the buffet/restaurant/front desk.

saskgirllovestravel (North Battleford, Canada) on Dec 12, 2025

The Pros; Location. Beach. Free wifi Cons; This hotel is a 2 star at best, which I think is generous. We stayed for 10 days all inclusive and they shouldn’t even offer that option. The food selection was extremely poor, same things for breakfast every single day, pineapple watermelon were the only fresh fruit. Took forever to get coffee, when you wound ask the waitress’s would snap at you. The most unfriendly women I have ever seen at a resort. For a place that relies on tourism the women there were absolutely miserable. We always tip at an all inclusive but this place made it really hard to do it with the feeling that everything was an inconvenience. Getting a drink from the bar by the beach was inconsistent, hours they are open was always a wonder. Pool bar never open. No music, very poor vibe. Pools were murky I don’t think they ever got cleaned. We sat by the ocean and didn’t swim in the pool. No à la carte open. Buffet was very small and extremely limited. If you are trying to eat healthy, have any sort of food restrictions please stay clear. Actually stay clear regardless. There are so many beautiful resorts, friendly people this place is neither. When you check in they start the grumpy experience, zero welcome, zero instruction. Thankfully we have stayed at many many all inclusive places so knew what to look for and ask. They clearly don’t care if they get repeated visitors. I would NEVER stay here again. For what we paid and what we got it was awful. I don’t leave negative reviews often. But this place deserves every single one. We ate out, which you shouldn’t have to do when you pay that much. Resort is outdated, rooms are outdated, first two days we didn’t have hot water, then they cut the wall open and fixed it. Then it stayed like that with drywall on the floor for days. Just a place with the attitude of not caring about anything. One day in the rain all staff disappeared, no drinks other than the lounge, no snacks. There is no snack bar, nothing to eat at the so called “all inclusive” other than at the buffet 3x. When we arrived our flight was 4 hours late. We went to the buffet which they won’t seat you after 8:45. We literally had scraps, disgusting. I used the gym, treadmill broke down, old equipment, not maintained, no towels, no cups for water most of the time, bathroom beside no hand towels, I asked for disinfectant spray for the equipment because that’s gross and unsanitary in a gym. They looked at me at the front desk and snarled. Needless to say there was none provided for the entire trip. Long story short. Avoid this place. Stay elsewhere.

Breakfast is a SCAM!

Tanya S on Dec 12, 2025

Laid back is an understatement! The staff literally drag there feet to serve you at breakfast, we have to ask an a high chair three time before it’s delivered and when it is we have practically finished breakfast before the children start. Same with ordering an egg, you give up and eat the breakfast and then an egg arrives ??. Generally the staff and friendly, the hotel is nice and located right on the beachfront with local shops across the road and places to eat within a short distance, although the prices are more than the UK and the beach could do with being no smoking as it difficult to find a spot without someone lighting up although they do stop if you ask. Housekeeping doesn’t finish until after your ready to prepare for the evening… like I said laid back! One time we were left without bedsheets and most of the time we are left with enough lotion to clean a cat yet there are four of us. Breakfast is a scam they charged us around £300 each for two adults and a small child for two weeks, which is a lot especially for a vegetarian family and a child that eats little to nothing but I accepted the cost… only to find for certain people they try to get additional funds by saying that breakfast included is only cereal with milk and fruit juice. This isn’t the case on the reservation, we had already eaten a weeks worth of breakfast and was not mentioned at all when we checked-in, otherwise we would have picked up the issue then. They literally take the mick and try to convince you that the price you paid isn’t a full breakfast. I have never that this experience before across any hotel either in the UK or abroad when breakfast and the room is brought as a package. They still believe at nearly £1000 there breakfast offering is correct, on that case save your money and literally go across the road for a fraction on the price and a hot breakfast. It wasn’t a cheap hotel so get a cheaper one where you expect a lesser service or pay more for a decent one. If you try to complain they fob you off, it’s you job to work with there supplier to correct the false advertising and incorrect pricing. It’s a good job I put my foot down and refused to pay additional costs but the staff were rude, ruined breakfast and an entire day. I asked around and many people paid the same for a package holiday and were entitled to a full breakfast, however I saw others trying to be fleeced ??. When we complained to loveholidays they offered us £50 for the removal of breakfast costing nearly £1000 but only gave us £40 ??.

Laidback comfort but not a unique experience

JuhaUitto (Bethesda, Maryland) on Dec 10, 2025

This was a work trip for just 3 days, unfotunately. The Accra Beach Hotel & Spa is a resport complex on the Rockley Beach on the south coast of the island, alightly east of the capital city, Bridgetown. It was a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and spacious. The restaurant pretty good, albeit with typical international hotel fare even at breakfast. There's a pool but the beach is right there and it's gorgeous. There's also a nice little beach bar that serves good rum and anything else you might want to imbibe. There's also a small shopping center accross the street where there's a decent supermarket and other services. The staff was friendly but the service was very slow both at the reception and the restaurant -- Island time.

Perfect location but dated.

Travel48716245481 (Walsall, United Kingdom) on Dec 08, 2025

We absolutely loved the location of Accra Breach. There were eateries and bars within walking distance. Getting to other places on the island was easy with the bus/taxi services. The beach was amazing. Probably one of the best beaches we saw on the island. The guys who helped put up the umbrellas were friendly and very amiable. Sylvester AKA Trouble made the most fantastic rum punches. Hotel itself was dated and I agree with other reviews that a refurb would increase the rating. Our room was basic and clean but there were definitely signs of damp. We were room only so unable to comment on food.
