After reading reviews I was nervous about staying here but I've found the hotel to be good. Clean room, think we had an updated room so no issues room 217. Check in took a while but they offered a complimentary drink. We where room only, plenty of places within walking distance to eat and drink. Beach is beautiful, sun beds could do with being upgraded as a bit tired. Overall a good stay and yes I would happily stay again.

We went to Barbados for Xmas 2025, while the Island never disappoints me this hotel was totally inadequate. It was a definitely not a 4 star. I would rate it as a 1 + star. The bathroom did not have a extractor fan, the water was just warm. The plug sockets where placed in unusual places. Room service was abysmal, they did not clean our room for a few days when they did they forgot to give us a bath mat. The gym was dirty and needed airing as it smelt dirty, the lock was broken on the toilet door. One of the showers in the gym was broken (unable to turn the shower off). On arrival we were given a free Rum Punch. There was no finesse in the Rum Punch it was 80% Rum and very little Punch. The Corridors in the hotel was dimly lit. You could see the dirt. Crockery dis-guarded by the guest was left in the corridor because the rooms were not cleaned and left for a few days before it was cleaned up. Another guest informed they found cockroaches in their room. The pictures of the pools and reception area are inviting. The time we spent at the Accra Beach we did not see anyone clean the pools. Xmas day at the hotel we had live music in the evening which was pleasant. Unfortunately the meal I had would not have satisfied my 6 six year old grandchild. It was al la cart. As it was diabetic and I had taken my medication I was extremely hungry. I did mention this to the hotel at the time they gave their apologies but did not offer me anymore food. The price of food was very expensive in the hotel. I did not buy anymore food during my stay at the hotel as the quality was poor (portion sizes) and the food was expensive. What ever complaints we had i.e hot water, room service. We would be promised by reception they would look into the matter to no avail. It was just lip service. Definitely will not be going to this hotel again

Overall hotel is good. Yes “dated” but always clean. Staff is very friendly. We had an issue with our room. All staff communicated with us and issue was resolved fairly quickly. Beach is great, they say there is service for drinks and food but have not seen anyone come around for the week. Service is a little “tarty” but we took the approach we are on vacation. :)

I chose the hotel for its location to stay for 1 night before a cruise. Whilst the staff, reception area, pool, beach look lovely our room was a huge disappointment. It had toiletries, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, safe, air con tv and iron but the room was tired. The shower did not work properly it was more of a trickle, the soap dish, taps and toilet roll holders were not clean. Wood work on the doors was cracking and shoddily finished. Beds were supplied with just one sheet no blanket which is not good when you do need the air con on but want more than a sheet. Worst of all was that the room was right above the extractor fans of the kitchen which woke me at 6am and were still on @ 10pm on arrival. This was on the corridor 104-416. I was disappointed & glad not to be staying the week - 4 star it is not. The food offering here appears to be a themed buffet each night in one restaurant (couldn’t find another open) so if you don’t like the cuisine you are stuck with a bar snack menu with a small choice and they had run out of burgers the night we were here. The position of the hotel is great, the staff are wonderful but I wouldn’t return I think it’s expensive for what it is.

I found this experience once in a life honestly from the day the checked in to the minute we checked out I found this hotel unreal especially the staff as they were so welcoming and just overall amazing. The main bartenders were romell, Kodio and deashawn and they made the experience 10 times better making sure we had everything we needed at every opportunity and were in general a great time and laugh. At first I was hesitant to book this hotel due to the price and reviews but after getting there I realised the reviews weren’t justified as the rooms were clean staff were lovely. Although it was expensive the food especially was great loads of variety and the drinks just as good. And the main thing that helped with hotel was how good the pool was with the swim up bar and the fact the beach was 2 steps away. Thank you Accra Sonny murphy
