This was our 4th time to stay at the Accra beach resort and spa. As usual the staff were exceptional. Suresh ( general manager) made us feel completely at home and his generosity was greatly appreciated. We will return again.

Use to stay here 20 years ago and it use to be decent. It’s now one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in my life. Hotel staff very rude and unfriendly. - they seem to be angry at life itself for whatever reason. Water in bathroom is hardly coming. Patio door on the verge of falling off. Said we couldn’t get CARICOM rates without calling ahead (dispute my family being from the carribean!) It’s such a shame as this hotel use to be decent. It’s an hell hole now. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My wife and I returned for our 2nd stay at Accra Beach hotel and had another enjoyable stay. The ocean view room was lovely with views over the pools and pool bar. Suresh and his team looked after us really well. Names to mention are Mitchel, Rommel Nicole and Sylvester. There were others but can’t remember all names. We also had a great day at the sister hotel Abidah on Miami Beach with great lunch and drinks served by great staff. There is a complementary shuttle between both sister hotels. Breakfast was great with omelette station and also lots of fresh fruit. The Pacifika restaurant served great Asian fare. Not much has changed since last visit pre-Covid with healthy shakes bar opposite and other places for coffee and light snacks. The hotel,, was clean and tidy throughout. As well as being located well to amenities, it backs directly onto a beautiful area of beach, with a good size pool and bathing areas.

Well located, lots of transport available to and from the main street so never stranded. Staff were friendly and helpful and happy to call a taxi wherever they needed. Food was mostly good, lasagne was EXCELLENT! Overall a good atmosphere, not noisy at all when we stayed, and can see they are gradually updating the place, hopefully they extend these updates to some of the rooms. The hotel, however, was clean and tidy throughout. As well as being located well to amenities, it backs directly onto a beautiful area of beach, with a good size pool and bathing areas. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for 1 week in March, and what a fantastic experience it was! Suresh and his team did a brilliant job looking after us. Nothing was too much for them and we were always greeted with a smile. Food was ok, I personally believe they had something for everyone. Drinks selection was top notch! Rooms could do with a little bit of a spruce up but clean and tidy. Will always come back here!
