Aston at the Waikiki Banyan has scheduled upcoming maintenance, renovation and modernization projects which may impact guest accommodations.
Elevator Modernization Project
- Elevator modernization work will commence on April 22, 2024, and continue through April 30, 2025.
- Work will be limited to Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Each elevator will take approximately 13 weeks to modernize.
- Each tower has four elevators, and only one elevator will be out of order at a time. Therefore, throughout this project, there should be three remaining elevators in each tower in operation for use by owners and guests.
6th Floor Recreation Deck Restroom Renovation
- Work has already started and, barring any unforeseen circumstances, will be completed by May 27, 2024.
- Work will be limited to Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- While the project is ongoing, the 6th floor restrooms and the sauna will be closed.
- The BBQs and recreation deck remain accessible for all owners and guests. The pool and Jacuzzis will remain open for use until the Annual Pool & Jacuzzi Maintenance project (described below) begins.

Overview

Each staff member we were in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Room and decor was very outdated and the shower was but a dribble. If not for the staff we would have been very disappointed.

The Aston Towers has an excellent location less than 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. The Views from the high tower rooms facing the ocean are great and the balcony is very enjoyable. The rooms were well stocked but the kitchen cabinets and appliances are very dated and need to be updated.
