The room and hallways are visibly worn out and a bit disappointing for a supposed five-star luxury hotel, however, we stayed here for over a week and had an amazing experience. From the amazing employees who take great care of us to the priceless views, it made the price tag very reasonable to us. As a frequent traveler, I value learning about local cultures more than anything. Shout out to Chris and Jordan! Much mahalo's (learned a bit of pidgin while staying here LOL) to Mitchel for informing and teaching us about the Hawaiian and local culture of Hawaii! He took great care of our room and us personally. We will be coming back soon. We loved Hawaii and the Ritz-Carlton!

This was our 3rd stay and my first review of this property. This hotel keeps us coming back. This is a property where they greet you by name. The rooms are flawless - ocean views, lanais, and kitchenettes with washer/dryer. And the food is top notch - whether it’s breakfast room service, or if you’re lucky enough to book a seat at Sushi Sho. The pool is solid by Waikiki standards. There’s a family side and adult side. Both overlook the city and ocean. Pool service is always great and we never had trouble getting a chair. The location is perfect - a couple minutes walk to all the shopping and restaurants. And yet it feels like an oasis. On this last visit - Doug, the General Manager happened to be at the valet stand when we arrived and greeted us. But then I saw him there every day we came down to the valet …it seemed he spends the time to speak to as many guests as he can. He said he’s been there since they opened the property. It’s no wonder why they are such a great property with a GM who actually is present and is on the floor of his hotel. Kudos to Doug!

The reception, attention and hospitality is what always draws us to the Ritz Carlton around the world and the Ritz Carlton in Waikiki just rose the bar. They greeted us with a bottle of champagne and macaroons for my birthday. Our view was beautiful from the room overlooking Waikiki Beach. The bell staff was quick and attentive. I needed help with keeping medication cold, keeping a cheesecake in the fridge and holding our luggage until we were done with our tour and they were able to come through with everything we needed. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is right on luxury row with walking access to luxury shops and food. Speaking of food, the meals we had on site were fantastic! I would highly recommend the four course at La Vie. Valet service was easy. Washers and dryers in the room made for a convenient time at the beach. And the kitchenette and ocean views made for a very cozy time. We would definitely stay again!

Wow... just wow. My boyfriend and I's experience at The Ritz-Carlton Residences has been nothing but amazing. They weren't playing around when they advertised personalized and attentive service, shout out to Mitchel in housekeeping who took the time out of his day to help improve our itinerary and overall experience on the island! Instead of playing tourists, he gave us all the great spots that weren't overcrowded with other tourists and were phenomenal! We've been to many luxury hotels, but none of them came even close to the experience we had at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Waikiki. Lovely and amazing staff, solid location, the rooms were great, and the views are just downright breathtaking. You folks have created unforgettable memories for us, we'll be back without a doubt!
