Our first couple of days at the resort were a bit rough – the perks and access levels for the different colored bracelets (like our blue ones) weren’t clearly explained upon check-in. We even got turned away from the premium (“gold”) pool area, which was frustrating at first. However, after chatting with some other guests and figuring things out, everything clicked, and we ended up having an absolutely amazing vacation! The staff were outstanding for the most part – friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure we had a great time. Any minor issues or questions we had were handled quickly and professionally. We loved the relaxed vibe: peaceful evenings, solid buffet options with good variety, and that warm, smiling service that makes you feel welcome. One helpful tip we learned a bit late (on our second-to-last day!): If you’re at the pool club before the buffet officially opens, you can still order from the full menu – just provide your room number. Wish we’d known that sooner! Also,the shuttle to the pool is a life saver! Overall, if you’re looking for a chill, enjoyable all-inclusive experience without the party-all-night scene, this place is perfect. We’d definitely return!

Great place to stay and relax. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is delicious and with variety of options. One of the best hotels in Puerto Escondido!

Our stay at the Posada Real was one of the highlights of the terrific vacation we had in Puerto Escondido, a town we will be sure to come back to and the hotel we would definitely stay in again. If you book at this hotel, we highly recommend you stay in one of the rooms with an ocean view. They're terrific. Our room was comfortably spacious, scrupulously clean and best of all, had an incredible view of the grounds and the big, blue Pacific ocean. The air conditioning and TV worked flawlessly on those very few occasions we had need of them. Our bed was supremely comfortable and was made up with fresh linens every day. Just below the hotel is the hotel's private beach club, Cocos, to which all hotel guests have free and unlimited access. At the beach club, the food and bar service were impeccable, the two pools are huge and very clean, the location is right on Playa Coronado (one of the best and safest swimming beaches in Puerto) and the prices are very reasonable. Hotel staff, whether in the hotel itself or at the beach club, were invariably helpful, friendly and always professional in their demeanor and the quality of service they provided. We did not eat at the hotel every day as we did eat out at several of Puerto's wonderful (and plentiful) restaurants; however, the hotel food which was included in our stay was good, plentiful and always fresh. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Posada Real and highly recommend it to anyone contemplating a vacation in Puerto.

It was the best three weeks vacation I’ve ever had, the staff was amazing and they were very helpful and friendly, the food was good and a selection of different dishes to choose from. The views are amazing, you can see for miles along the unspoiled natural beach with the occasional visiting turtle to stir the heart strings. We are foodies and this one hit the spot with a regular easy listening live band in the restaurant. A nice variety of local and European dishes with excellent dessert choices did it for us. The staff were very friendly and attentive but at the beach club during the day and throughout our stay. Now that we have discovered how to navigate between Oaxaca City and Puerto Escondido , we plan to make Posada Real our beach retreat. Looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces of the team when we return to Mexico !
