First time visiting Maui

Stayed 3 nights at Maui Coast in the new Kai tower. Me and my family had a great experience here. Room was pretty big and clean. It has a mini fridge and microwave. Laundry room on every floor to use with detergent. Cold filtered water everywhere on property. Free shuttle anywhere within 3 miles from hotel. Pool not the biggest but didn’t get crowded which we enjoyed. Had live music every night by the pool bar. Maui coast not far from beaches, food trucks, convenient stores, etc.. staff were friendly and service was great from checking in to checking out! Highly recommend Maui Coast.

A great hotel in the heart of Kihei. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any concerns. Only complaint would be that the hallways were really warm in the Haku tower. Other than that everything was great.

Was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel (for a 3 star) is. Rooms are big and well-appointed with a microwave & mini fridge. They offer housekeeping daily, very fluffy soft bathroom towels, comfy beds, balcony (we had ocean view, which was great), free laundry on each floor (they even had detergent for free on top of the machine), lots of lounge areas by the pool, cold filtered water dispensers throughout the property. The pool is a bit on the small side but there are two of them and it never once felt over-crowded during our 7 day stay. The hotel overall has a nice, chill vibe, seemed like a good mix of families + couples so it wasn't over-run with kids but also felt very easy to have kids there (9 & 13 year old). Someone comes around the pool every day handing out mochi ice cream, which my kids loved. Very friendly front desk and bikes available to borrow (also free). I used the fitness room which was also very nice. I really like their bracelet key system; it was so liberating to not have to remember to bring the key. The rooms are extremely sound-proofed, which i also really appreciate as a light sleeper. Good tv system that allows you the option of live tv or apps. I guess none of this is technically "free" because they do charge a daily resort fee but still appreciated all of the thoughtful details. The only downsides to the property are: 1) the food options are limited right now. The main cafe is under renovation; they have a scaled down menu offering available poolside but we got tired of it pretty quickly. There is a small store in the lobby but that was only open until 3 and some days it randomly closed early. Fortunately, the hotel location is convenient to other dining but not the same as being able to just stay on the property. 2) the ocean view rooms overlook the ocean but it's across the street and there's a parking lot with the trash area of the hotel below in-between the hotel & street. Instead of the sound of waves, you get the sound of trash being collected or car alarms going off (this happened a shocking amount). It would be great if they could turn this area into something landscaped/green instead of a parking lot. Easier said then done and in the end, it was not that big of a deal. I'd definitely stay here again!

Everything about Maui Coast was great. Attendants were very accommodating. Location is within walking distance to several great Resteraunts and the beach, they also have a vw electric van shuttle if your looking to go further than walking distance and dont have a vehicle. One of the best hotels I've stayed at
