Awful construction noise in the morning

Darren L (San Francisco, California) on Feb 24, 2024

The noise of the construction next door in the morning is unbearable. I asked the front desk and it turned out it's their own construction , yet they can't do anything to avoid early morning nouse. I understand their needs of construction but being woken up at 6-7am during holidays is just a horrible feeling. Service is great but the construction noise is awful.

Very good experience

My family stayed for 1 week. The location was convenient within walking distance to the beach and shops and located in the heart of Kihei and within a short driving distance to Wailea and to Piilani highway. The room including bathroom was spacious and well appointed (we were upgraded to a junior suite). The hotel has a restaurant onsite/adjacent to the hotel (Kihei Caffe) which opened at 7am which was convenient to grab a quick breakfast before heading out on excursions. It also has a spacious gym with good equipment and a nice pool area with hot tub. This is a perfect hotel to stay in if you have a car rental and are planning to be exploring Maui. The hotel is building a new building on the property, which I understand will have modern rooms. The existing building's room are quite dated, although they are clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable and I felt like the building was well insulated from noise from other rooms. Although the room prices are high for what is on offer, the pricing is still well below what you would pay for another of the luxury resorts in Wailea, Kapalua or Kaanapali. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice facility, with central located downtown. Strongly recommended

JoeNathan9249 (Saint Paul, Minnesota) on Jan 31, 2024

Very nice facility, very friendly & helpful staff including Maureen & Cheryl at the front desk. Hotel is located centrally, just across street and 1-2 blocks from beaches. Nice rooms, a nice pool, hot tub and a bar next to the pool. Several restaurants, stores, shops within 3 blocks. You don't have a direct view of the ocean from the hotel. But you are across the street from several ocean-front parks.

Nice place and locstion

cmurf17 (Crown Point, Indiana) on Jan 30, 2024

Great place to stay. Located nicely by the restaurants and beach. Also, the shuttle is a nice perk if the walking is too much. The pool was nice along with the bar area. Dave was great bartender. I will definitely be back.

Kindest staff on earth. Super accommodating. They helped me with transportation and work needs. I so appreciate this staff. I wouldn’t eat the food though. It was so bad. The drinks were bad, too.. drink wine.
