Obviously the best!

We had a wonderful time at The Bellagio! My wife had never been to Vegas before so obviously I had to stay at the most iconic and center-strip hotel! “O”, the pool, the spa, everything was really amazing. Blake at the front desk was particularly wonderful and helpful with settling up our final bill and explaining some of the charges we were confused about. Not only was he helpful, he had a great and patient attitude :)

What a stunning hotel right in the centre of the strip, perfectly located to explore all that Las Vegas has to offer. The foyer is beautiful and what we really liked is that you don’t walk straight into a casino, it’s there, just off to the right, it’s just not in your face as soon as you enter. Our room was in the newly renovated Spa Tower and had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the Paris balloon as well as other sparkly lights that make Las Vegas a city that can be seen from space. Our room was fabulous, large and comfortable. A fantastic comfy bed which was huge, seating area, more than ample storage space and an enormous bathroom with great walk in shower, bath and double sinks. Just like everything in Vegas, it was larger than life. Be careful with the mini bar, even if you remove something to look at it, it is automatically charged to your room. There is a shelf for your own personal items, however, it is small, although we managed to fit a bottle of wine in there. The pool area was beautiful, set in tranquil foliage, away from the bright lights and hustle of the city outside. As with all Las Vegas hotels it was huge and took us a while to navigate around it. From visiting other hotels, we certainly felt that the public areas in the Bellagio were the most tasteful. A huge shout out to all the housekeeping staff, they keep the place absolutely spotless 24 hours a day. There are two reasons that we took a blob off: firstly the resort fee is hefty, the MGM corporation makes enough money and we felt that $55 a night excluding tax was just being greedy. Secondly, ‘guest services’ leave a lot to be desired. We had a guaranteed late check out of 2pm (8/11/25), when I phoned to see if there was any chance that this could be extended, I was (in no uncertain terms) told that they would not honour the late check out and in fact we had to check out by 11am. Rude and abrupt at best. Mostly for the right reasons, we had a very memorable stay in this fabulous hotel. Highly recommended.
