Not the greatest experience

Even though the thought of being at this well known hotel, I was expecting better service and cleaner room, my room was booked through a conference but had to add an additional stay at a governmental rate due to a return flight. However upon check in there were no longer any king rooms that I had booked since February available. Upon entering my room, it was stunning but quickly noticed in the shower, red hair stuck on the wall of the shower. Then upon my final day, I called the front desk to make sure I was not going to experience issues with my room with the added day but we later found out our key was shut off by getting locked out carried armfuls of stuff. And had to go to the front desk to get new keys. Then I called a wake up call the morning to leave for the airport and never heard/received any wake up calls. Called to check out and informed them of not hearing any wake up calls and the employee replies very rudely with did you check the volume? Maybe brushing up on hospitality when dealing with customers. Overall, not the greatest experience I was expecting. I had also asked for my last nights receipt and was told it was emailed but almost 15 hours later, still no email of my receipt.
Sad state of an institution

Cafes offer poor value for money and poor service, with decent, comfortable facilities in short supply. Sadelle's food is grossly overrated. Took some time to get seated despite a half-empty restaurant. Bathroom in our suite had an odor. No complementary beverage amenities (i.e. coffee, tea, kettle) in the room. In summary, not the experience we expected from a world famous institution. We couldn't wait to leave.
