Not for us

54Gigi24 (Westminster, Colorado) on Apr 12, 2024

On the positive side, the room was spacious, lovely, the bathroom was clean and large, the shower was great, lots of pillows on the bed, really comfy. The casino was clean, light and bright, and relatively smoke free. On the negative side, our room faced the pool area and Fremont Street, and the techno music pounded in our room all hours of the day and half the night. The music in the casino area was deafening - no way to carry on a decent conversation without practically yelling. We are in our 60’s with no hearing deficits. Perhaps this is acceptable to younger people. The food is adequate but costs way more than is appropriate, ie., one breakfast. Two slices of bacon, 3 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, breakfast potatoes, and hot tea: $30 before tip. We stayed there on our son’s recommendation, and he’s now on “recommendation probation”. Would we stay again? No way.

Know before you go

SMH452 (Leawood, Kansas) on Apr 06, 2024

Know what you are getting into before booking. For reference we are a 60 year old couple. We come to Vegas often, and usually stay on the strip (Caesars, Bellagio, Park MGM). My husband saw a Circa promotion on Wheel of Fortune and has been wanting to stay there. We booked for April 5-9, 2024. Pros: - the gentleman that checked us in & a couple others were very friendly. - the BLT at Saginaw Deli had close to a pound of bacon on it. Neutral: - the pool looked like it would be fun if it wasn’t cold & windy - the Sportsbook does have a large screen. But the seating is limited & is reserved for a fee. Not much standing space to watch games. Cons: - limited outlets in the room. None on my side of the bed - because it is on Fremont they need so much security. It was disconcerting. - no servers came to the craps table so my husband went to the bar for a glass of ice water. They wanted $3.50 for tap water. - VERY loud music playing in all public spaces. - difficult to find check-in desk. No bellhops. No true lobby. - to get a cab you have to cross the street because they aren’t allowed to wait by the lobby. Summary: Circa was not for us. It is a younger crowd. There were people older than us, but not many. We took the loss & checked out this morning & moved to Aria. We are much happier here.

Guest friendly is not their motto...

Brent K on Apr 03, 2024

To valet was our only option,( according to our valet) because self park was $17 an hour that increases by the day. I suspect the valet was lying about the self park to increase his possible tip. We both had to have a valid ID to check in, which was very inconvenient. Not checked, scanned! I guess my personal DL information is sold to the highest bidder. My guest's ID has to be scanned too? What for? The pool sucked. Another ID scan despite being a guest. The numerous lifeguards told me I couldn't hold my breath and swim underwater. What? How do I swim without holding my breath? Apparently no swimming allowed. The screen is fantastic, however does every screen have to be hockey and/or basketball? No alternative, it's sports, sports and more sports. No movie. No rock videos. If you like women's college basketball, you're in luck. If you just want to watch something entertaining, besides sports, forget it. While the wife gambled, I write! I'm a lawyer and a writer. A pen and paper is my solitude. Soon security, (two guys, ( one named Westly), a tall, dark haired white guy) approach me to ask what I was writing! Why, do I look suspicious? I ask.. I'm a guest and they should be careful about interrupting someone's vacation. The room was nice, cool and dark, the way I like it, but both Fountaine Blue and Resort World have large tubs. Circa has no tub, at least not in our room. Overall, security was ridiculous. Despite being a guest with a room key, they must scan your ID every time if you leave hotel grounds or go back to the pool. Guest friendly is not their motto. Since there are many hotels in Las Vegas, I can think of many other I rather stay next time

Best place to stay in Vegas

Abigail S on Mar 31, 2024

Amazing hotel! Fremont is definitely way cooler than the strip! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, dealers are friendly and know what they’re doing. The pool of course is Incredible! I won’t stay anywhere else in Vegas. We are at all restaurants and lived each of them. It can be a little loud so if you’re sensitive to noise maybe find somewhere else… but it’s Vegas! It’s kind of loud everywhere

It had hiccups.

Melissa M (Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States) on Mar 25, 2024

I wasn’t asked at any time to provide a review by the hotel or even asked about my stay upon checkout, but I did want to post a few of the things that shouldn’t happen. We arrived on a Saturday about 6:30 PM. I had a reservation, and he told me the room was not clean yet. He asked us to wait and put our bags with the concierge. He did not offer a different room, but I did suggest that perhaps because it was a bit late and this seemed unreasonable that they could give us a different room? Fine. We get a different room and realize that none of the outlets work in the bathroom. I can pinch hit, but there was no plug-in by any kind of mirror so I was a little irritated. We called in the request and she said somebody would be there in 15 minutes. About 50 minutes and two more calls later, I finally got fed up and found an engineer guy and asked if he could bring me an extension cord which he did. We had somewhere to be and I wasn’t going to be late. At no time did anyone suggest that we could change rooms, so I used a giant orange extension cord for four days. I just think for a hotel that’s trying to be more upscale in the sea of downtown hotels, this was disappointing.
