Do not stay here. The worst service, power and hot water issues all the time. People that booked being turned away cause they had no rooms. Old folks home with a pool that I got a rash from day 1 and couldn’t enjoy the rest of our stay. Not very clean. They’re constantly out of well everything. There’s only 3 restaurants that are under staffed so there’s no such thing as service. The staff that are there are working long long hours. For the amount we paid we could have went 5 star anywhere else for half the price. Worst all inclusive we’ve ever done and we’ve been to at least 20. Do not go here.

We booked this resort based on the great reviews, but something must have changed over the past year, as this is no more than a 3 star resort. They offer no information regarding restaurants, using an app for communication, etc. upon check in. Our 1st experience was a fellow guest laying into the bartender because she felt there was no alcohol in her drink. I'll stop short of saying that they are trying to pass off water/colored water as rum, but I concur that there is no alcohol in their mixed drinks even though I watched them pour it in. I'm a tiny person, who never drinks, and I was able to pound back 4 pina coladas in a row, not taste rum/alcohol, and not feel the slightest buzz. I also witnessed the pool bartenders reusing dirty cups and handing them out to unsuspecting guests. There was only the buffet open for breakfast, and that was ok, but only the Chill & Grill was open for lunch, and after a couple of days we got tired of eating the same things over and over again. Very small portions. For dinner there were 3 restaurants to chose from with reservations. Very limited choices on the menus with always something they were out of. Slow service, but we attribute this to the resort being grossly understaffed. Room & beach towel shortages. Not enough pool & beach chairs for everyone. The wifi was very unreliable. Never had a problem with hot water, but there was more than one occasion that there was no water at all for several hours. Our A/C stopped working for 2 days, then suddenly turned back on all by itself. Someone did come look at it the 1st day, but was not able to fix it. They said a technician would come to look at it, but no one ever showed up. I love a quiet laidback resort, but this place was exceedingly boring. The buildings, grounds/property says luxury, but the experience says 3 star. It's the first vacation I've been on, that I was looking forward to going home!
