Can't wait to come back! Thank yous to the staff at Sheraton Coconut Beach for such a memorable stay.

We spent the final two nights of our latest trip to Kauai at this hotel, in an oceanfront room on the first floor. Prior to our arrival we had spent 5 nights in Princeville, and I wish it had been the other way around! Our room was comfortable and the views were spectacular, but the thing that made it the most special for us honestly were the people who work there. From the people at the front desk to the staff at the bar/restaurant and the coffee shop, to the groundskeepers and housekeeping services, everyone smiled and said "aloha" as if you knew them your whole life. The front desk/main lobby area as well as the restaurants/bar/pool/arcade area, along with the outdoor areas surrounding the hotel are all very well-maintained, inviting, and CLEAN. We ate a few times at the Crooked Surf- both times I enjoyed generous servings of super-fresh tasting ahi tuna (tried the poke nachos and the poke bowl- definitely would recommend both!) My husband also had a burger, which I think he enjoyed (I enjoyed the fries-- whatever batter or oil they use to fry their food is DELICIOUS). On our last day I tried a green smoothie from the coffee shop (First Light) and it was sooo very badly needed after a week of eating out! I really appreciated the fact that it tasted healthy, but also it was refreshing and enjoyable. The hotel is located just a few blocks from downtown Kapaa, and they have beach cruisers that are free to sign out for a few hours at a time so you don't have to drive and deal with parking (or drinking!) When I fell off my bike into some spiky bushes like 5 minutes after signing it out, the woman at the desk was very kind and helped calm me down. I think she was surprised/happy to see me the next day trying again! They greeted us with leis made of shells and delicious tasting juices when we checked in. I also like that their room keys are actually bracelets that are water/weatherproof, so you can't lose them! I think that's all I've got for now. Thank you so very much to everyone who works there for making our experience as guests so special. :) We'll be back!

Ocean view was nice. Pool and available activities between the pool and ocean were also very good. Food was so so. Not a large variety of options between the few places at the resort. Staff was friendly. Cleaning was lacking in both our room and at bathrooms around the resort. Supposedly they change the sheets every 3rd day of your stay - per the card by the bed. Check in Tuesday and had to leave a note Sunday to please change the sheets (yes, I selected yes at check in for daily cleaning). When booking add about 110 for taxes each night. They have the 3 taxes for your room rate (pretty standard). Then they add the resort fee and tax you again. Not worth the money for this hotel.
