Such a wonderful week at HE with friends

Once again we had a wonderful week at Hacienda Encantda. Our first interaction was Antonio from bellman service, he remembered our group and welcomed us with big hugs and a "welcome home, familia." Next was Rebecca at the Check in desk. We had 3 rooms spread all over and she was able to move us all to one floor of our favorite building near phase 2. What a blessing! Our rooms were perfect, the maid service was so great, we would leave notes when we needed things in our fridge restocked and it was always done the same day. One nite Marco helped us get extra bedding for the pullout couch, he even remade the bed for us. We had plenty of clean towels and turn down service if we needed it. Manuel, Luis and Antonio were always readily available for our dinner rides on the golf carts, or for morning fruit at Metizo. I love that they remember us and ask what we are doing for the day or how was our meal. What a great service! At Phase 2 pool, Erick was AMAZING, I can't say enough about how he took care of us daily. He knew our room numbers, or drink choices and would suggest food and he brought us plently to bottled water. At Phase 3 on Thursday Luis was 5 star! He had a blast, often dancing when he would deliver the drinks, he knew all our rooms numbers and suggested new drinks. By this time there were 2 more families hanging out with us and he took great care of our large group. Tania, pool concierge was so helpful. She made spa appts for folks in our group. She got us all reserved for the Art Walk w/the entertainment staff and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed each day. (she did all of us even though she was in the hospital one day and sick for two other days) She truly is kind and so caring. Find her, she is your girl for any needs. I have to really thank personally Trinidad and Luis the Captains of the valets. Trinidad made a connection to our family last year and noticed my mom wasn't travelling with us this time... he asked about her, remembered small details and one day made a special trip visiting with us the whole time. Happy 80th to his mom this last weekend. Luis was driving wedding guests home one nite and picked up my friend and I even though he was doing other duties that evening. What a nice person. He was funny, he took great care of us, and the next day remembered us. We loved Enrique at Metizo, and Sanidel and Omar at Phase 3. We met some amazing friends at the pool, we are already planning our next trips for this winter. Its offically a home away from home for us when we need to escape and recharge our minds. The sun and surf might help a little as well

The resort is very well maintained and very clean. The atmosphere is super friendly, we made so many new friends. The wait staff is first class. I never had a bad meal, the food quality is amazing. The sunrise and sunsets leave you in awe. I highly recommend it !!
