We love the outer property, well kept and so peaceful.

Jan L on May 10, 2025

Me and my sister go every year. This was the best view we've ever had and its usually always good. Service is fairly good but it's diminished gradually. Room service goes down every year, no clean towels, biggest issue. The decor is no longer appealing. Everything is old, mattresses & bedding, screens torn, sc doors don't slide so you can't get them closed, curtains partially off hooks. The rooms are the problem but due to view, cliffs, and peacefulness, we still look forward to going.

Excellent service

Karen C on May 10, 2025

Tania is the pool concierge and is absolutely the best we have ever experienced in our 6 years of vacationing at Hacienda Encantada! She is friendly, speaks excellent English, pays attention to detail and follows up to ensure everything signed up for was as expected. We look forward to seeing her again next year!

Lock up your cash and valuables!!!

ambera50 (Issaquah, Washington) on May 09, 2025

We have now advised management for the third time that cleaners are stealing money. My daughter caught Cesar with his hand literally in her purse when she came in from the balcony when he didn’t realize she was there. We had a guest in another room who was missing $2,800 in cash and when we were here a few months back a cleaner stole $3,600!! We don’t usually carry cash like this and had accidentally left the safe unlocked. We have been coming here for years and were shocked when it first happened (which they tried to convince us we must have “misplaced” our money). Now after this weekend it is clear they have a real problem with their staff. Lock up ALL cash and valuables!!!!

A Wonderful Stay at Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences

Veloris M (Georgetown, Texas) on May 09, 2025

Hacienda Encantada Resort and Residences is made up of rentals and residences. The address is in Cabo San Lucas (CSL) but the road to it is prior to arriving in the City of CSL. There are no restaurants adjacent to the Resort so, if you're not taking advantage of the all-inclusive (AI), you would have to go into Cabo or eat at the resources on-site (approximately 9). Ubers cannot come on the property and the driveway may be a mile or a mile-and-a-half long if you plan to walk to your Uber. Concierges will call taxis for wherever you need to go. We went to the supermarket nearby (there are several) for the basics. There are several pool bars and restaurants, some requiring reservations. Be aware of the closing times, as most of the pool bars and a few of the restaurants close at 5 or 6 p.m. while others are open until 10. The location is well laid out, slightly terraced so that (I believe) everyone gets a view of the ocean. If you don't, take advantage of the adult pool/pool bar (El Patio) with a view of the arches in the distance as well as incoming Carnival Cruises to the Cabo Marina. There are daily activities for all, as well as basketball, pickleball, volleyball and tennis. If you didn't bring your own equipment you can borrow them. A QR code on paperwork in your room (and the key card) provide a quick update of what is going on on any given day as well as the restaurant schedules. There's a gym, laundry room ($4 each for wash and dry), and market/pharmacy on site (La Tiendita) as well as a Starbucks with a Deli, bakery, sandwiches and snacks called "Lola Mia". There may be other shops that I didn't visit. Golf carts transport you around the property and can be called before leaving your room or near the elevators in your building. There is a shuttle that will take you to the sister resort (Marina Fiesta Resort) every 2 hours (8 a.m.-10 p.m.) for a fee (if you don't have all-inclusive). The area is beautiful and during our visit (4/28-5/5), the noise level was low. The units have the usual colorful decor and tile floors. Those tile floors can be quite noisy if you have a family overhead. Luckily no one was overhead until the day we left. We were in Building E, Suite 4264-65. This unit included a "lockout" with a door connecting the main area. The “lockout” had 2 full-sized beds, a separate patio, full bath (no jacuzzi tub), kitchen with 2 burner electric stove, full fridge and well stocked with dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc. The main unit had no oven but did have a stovetop with 4 electric burners, a microwave, and full-size fridge and the same kitchen items. All rooms had a television and ours (one bedroom) had 2 full bathrooms. There was access to the patio from the bedroom and living room. There was a chaise lounge in the master bedroom along with a king bed, and a full sized pullout couch in the living room. The televisions were set on top of a built in chest of drawers with at least 2 small and 2/3 large drawers. There was a water closet in each bathroom, a shower and a jacuzzi tub (Master only). I believe maid service was every other day. Not sure what services were offered with the AI. Of course "ownership" was offered and, at first, we said “no”, but when we were told what we would receive for "at least listening" we changed our minds. It was long and, just when you thought you were being whisked away to get your gifts, there was one more person…and then another. No one got aggressive and we endured to the end. There are a few restaurants/bars just for the owners (fractional and full-time) but there was so much for non-owners to enjoy I did not miss those. They also offer shuttle service to and from the airport but we had booked our own. Not sure if AI's pay for the shuttle or if it is complimentary. We had a great time at Hacienda Encantada. Everyone is welcoming and the staff are always smiling and ready to assist in any way they can. I would definitely visit again.
