Very over crowded cheap hotel
A9380MMkeithm on Sep 24, 2024
Super overcrowded and definitely not the tranquil photo as seen anywhere online. This is a very low priced all you and can eat and drink. Communication was extremely difficult. Kids were everywehere. Very overcrowded. Every person brought their own thermal mug up to the bar and they FILLED it to the top with booze. Because of the pricing, there were so many kids and it was so overcrowded I could hardly get anything.
Outrageous

Nowhere to get away from all of the noise ! Crowded, noisy, pleasant staff, small understanding of english, screaming ninios! Would never come back...it was Day of the Dead week which is a busy week here...
Rooms are old and smell like dirty toilet
RAY P on Sep 07, 2023
just now on Google The rooms look tired and smell like bathroom toilet. Pillows are old worn and small, has the feel of a cheap motel. They call it a resort and this does not come close except for the food. They don't change the air conditioner filters which are dirty and circulate the dirty smelly air. The smell sticks to your clothes. I keep my suit case locked. I will not take my clothes out. Sad I can't change hotels since I'm not paying for it, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has a sensitive nose and an eye for hygiene. I purchased a room deodorizer at Walmart and two cans of spray disinfectante and the smell is entwined in the bed sheets the pillows and the curtains. I can't try and air out the room a little because their is a night club out front and it's music is so loud that it reaches the 14 floor where I am. They put these smelly old throw blankets on the bed for decoration and they are from the 70's. Don't waist your money. Go to a holiday inn or a known American hotel chain where they have quality standards.
Good Hotel, very noisy and the hotel did little no nothing about our non-stop noisy neighbors

The hotel is descent. Small and the pool is very very small with very little pool area and beds as well as the beach area is reduced with a small number of places to lay down and enjoy. The hotel is clean for the most part, I had to ask multiple times to have towels delivered for they forgot my foot towel and hand towels on the daily. As far as noise, out neighbors were four families which got together for dinner every night with noisy kids and music until very late at night. Seems like they got drunk and let the kids run wild. Called and reported them to security multiple times until I had to get up and knock on their door to tell them to stop in a not so nice way. After having called security twice around 1 am was the last call and they did absolutely nothing. I doubt Ill be going back to this property after this experience.
A room with a view and too much noise to sleep

There are two good things I can say about our stay at the Pacific Palace, the sunset view from our balcony was mesmerizing and the cleaning staff was on the ball. Besides that, our room made our trip exhausting. Every night it seemed like the Mexico National Futbol team was playing hide and seek in the hallways with doors slamming and laughter and singing until 3am. Then we'd get an early morning wake up call at 5am with much of the same behavior with a phone alarm added in for extra spice. I understand the tile floors cause things to echo, but it was quite ridiculous. We called the front desk one night to complain and we had a reprieve from the noise for approximately one glorious hour. After a night of no sleep, expecting a refreshing shower shouldn't be too much right? But alas, the shower would get luke warm at best. I've seen other reviewers complain about the noisy brass bands. I would much rather listen to those soothing sounds compared to what we've had to put up for the last 4 days
