Amazing hotel!

We stayed at Warwick for part of our honeymoon and we were so happy with our stay! The food choices and quality are fantastic. The amenities are great - we used the gym, tennis court and pool/ beach areas frequently. The hotel was very clean and well looked after, our hotel room was cleaned well and restocked everyday! We have to give a special shout out to the entertainment team and staff in the hotel - everyone was super friendly and helpful. Bullet was hilarious, always making us laugh and hosting some great evening quizzes! Thanks for a wonderful trip, we can’t wait to come back!
Lovely place

We are just back from this super wee hotel. We enjoyed superb food and drink, only downside was the hot food selection was never hot, always lukewarm. Lovely staff throughout except at checkout where we endured an arrogant/uninterested chap, not pleasant at all. Thanks for a great stay anyway!
Excellent all round

Excellent location, comfortable hotel, food was great and staff very friendly. Free shuttle bus to cabbage beach is a must, really like being in paradise.
Great place, but a few tips if you are booking.......

Let me start with the positives, the staff were great. Shout out to Ian who was brilliant and to Jamal at the pool bar! The buffet food was good and there was always a choice, my daughter is a fussy eater and always found something to eat. The waterside grill was excellent. The pool was great, plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go round and a great atmosphere, the activities team were fab. The hotel was clean and tidy and was in a great location, the pool was constantly being cleaned by the staff too. We had a wonderful time and met some great people. The negatives, we were placed in a room two down from the lift and the noise from the lift was so noisy it kept us awake. I would hate to be in the room next to the lift! The bathroom was tiny, I had read reviews but be prepared as you literally fall into the toilet when you open the bathroom door. I didn't realise but we were in a room where the bathroom had yet to be refurbished so there was a tiny bath with a shower. I did complain about the noise and the bathroom and, to her credit, Keisha moved us to another room where we discovered the bathroom had been refurbished but they had kept the original shower so there still was not a proper shower attachment that you could take down and use to properly shower. Another silly thing was that they did not have a pump for pool inflatables, instead one of the pool lads did it manually, he had more breath than me! One last thing, we had a departure 9.30 at night and there was no way to book late check out, we were told to come down to reception at 8am on the morning of departure. I have never been to a hotel where you cannot arrange and pay for late departure either prior to or on arrival. Again, Keisha was more than helpful when I explained this and she arranged the late check out for us when she moved us to a new room. In summary, I would give this hotel a positive rating as the atmosphere, staff, pool, outside space, location and food were really good. Keisha was friendly and professional and dealt with our issues straight away, so a big thank you to her. A few little things let it down, the showers (I understand they cannot change the size of the bathrooms as its a converted hotel) but they could make the showers much better, not being able to book a late check out on or pre arrival, they could buy an electric pump for the pool area (they don't cost much). If you are booking make sure you get a room far away from the lifts and one with a newer bathroom.
Resort?

Reception: Slow and bureaucratic at check in. Not the best after a flight from London. Always a queue during peak check in times. Some reception staff were very helpful; others would do better as a doctor’s receptionist or similar; taking the art of the detached and uninterested to new levels. Local Tax: We were staying for 14 nights so over $500. We paid it at check in; then when checking out we were told there was a mistake and we were credited the local tax, then later it was taken again. We went with British Airways holidays and this local tax was mentioned deep within the e-mail confirmation. Worth knowing. The Room: As you can see, dated but very clean. Comfortable beds. Very good housekeeping. Just be aware that many rooms do not have balconies. There are some rooms with balconies on the front of the hotel overlooking the pool and inland waterway beyond. We tried to upgrade to a balcony but they were all taken. The Pool: Very good. No real issues with sunbeds; at least not at the start of the day. Pool was clean and easily accessible. Was interesting to watch all the marine traffic on the waterway from the pool area and boardwalk. Food: Buffet was generally okay, temperature control seemed to be a challenge and there would be a menagerie of Managers at some lunchtimes with food probes (which suggests they knew it was an issue). To be fair, never easy to keep food (75c) without overcooking on the pass. Menu reptation was a bit of an issue, but again to be fair, we were there for 2 weeks, and it is only a small hotel rather than a resort. Edgewater Grill, ‘Abbicco’ and the pool restaurant are good / very good (in different ways). Bars: A real problem, especially if the weather is bad and there is little else to do. This is when it became clear that this is a hotel rather than a resort like Atlantis. There are only 2 relatively small bars – one in reception and one at pool - at certain times only one might be open. Beaches: There is a small man-made (?) beach. There is also a shuttle bus to Cabbage Beach. Return trips can be a bit hit and miss, so you may have to wait on the road in the heat when returning. Area outside the hotel. Nice area to go for a walk, get a drink at Margaritaville, walk over to Atlantis and shops. There is a taxi rank outside, if you fancy an island trip (which we did), worth walking over to taxi rank and seeing if you can negotiate a price, better than just order a taxi and have to pay the price when it rocks up. Top Tip: Pick a taxi with good visibility if you fancy an island tour. There is a water taxi (short walk from hotel) over to Nassau which is worth using. Gets you there and you get to see Nassau from the water, all for a reasonable price.
