You Can't Trust The Warwick...

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK OF BEING EXTORTED BY THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT, NAMELY HEAD MANAGER, MR SIMONE'. I stayed at this resort in December of 2025 as a solo occupant looking for some rest and relaxation. The hotel is fine, including the food and the staff, but the hotel management is not to be trusted at all and I would not recommend staying here for that reason. The 3rd afternoon of my visit, an individual that was not even a designated member of the staff through his attire, came to my room while I was in the shower. He told me that the hotel had evidence that I was smoking something that I should not have been, and that I either had the option of voluntarily paying a $300 fee or he would report the matter to the local authorities in the Bahamas. I denied violating any policy vehemently and asked him to produce any evidence supporting such. He did not have any evidence other than his allegations, which I vehemently denied continually. I demanded to speak to the hotel manager, and immediately went downstairs and asked for him. Eventually the manager, Mr Simone', came out with the hotel security manager and we sat down and talked. I told him that I did not violate any policy, and asserted this in the presence of both of them. I asked for any evidence to prove this and they said they had some video evidence but they never showed me anything. They kept trying to get me to admit that I had violated their smoking policy without proof, and I continually asserted that I did not. They never provided me with any evidence whatsoever... BUT AGAIN, CHARGE ME A $300 FEE UNDER THE THREAT OF FALSIFYING INFORMATION TO THE BAHAMIAN AUTHORITIES. Additionally, the hotel staff was in and out of my room at times when they should not have been there based upon the normal cleaning schedule. My safe had been tampered with in my room, and I had to go down and have the hotel staff reset the safe. All of this is just two coincidental, and points to something far more coordinated and nefarious than just it being a coincidence. I would not stay here, particularly knowing that the Bahamian authorities are some of the strictest that you will find in the Caribbean.
DO NOT BOOK

DO NOT BOOK! - BLOOD and unsanitary conditions! NOT luxury and wasted THOUSANDS! (photos - unfortunately could not upload videos) The “2” rating is solely based on the number of activities offered at the resort and its private beach. Check-in was smooth, and I paid the resort fee of $30 per person per day. However, after payment, they simply handed me an activity schedule and sent me on my way, no explanation on how to book activities or restaurant reservations. For context, I’m a seasoned traveler who often travels solo and frequently visits the Caribbean because I love the sun. I also tend to be optimistic and believe 1 incident should sour an entire experience. Transportation: As many reviews mention, there is no airport shuttle—be prepared to spend an additional $120–$200 for a round trip. The resort provides a shuttle service to Atlantis (about a 15-minute walk) that departs at 8 p.m. and doesn’t return until 11 p.m., once the casino closes. The Room: Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed several issues: the main light didn’t work, the showerhead was heavily corroded, the iron plate had melted, and there was blood on the bathroom countertop. When I requested a different room, I was told I’d need to upgrade, as no similar rooms were available. All corrections were completed by day 3rd of my stay, though some traces of blood remained visible. The walls were extremely thin, I could hear everything from neighboring rooms. Despite being an adults-only resort, whoever was above me sounded like they were training for a relay race. The Staff: On my first night, I joined a paint-and-sip activity, which was actually pretty fun, until I went to the bar for a drink. The bartender began yelling at me as I took a sip. Confused, I walked away. He later found me and apologized, explaining he thought I was working with the paint-and-sip team (who were independent contractors), despite my clearly visible resort wristband. Every time I interacted with Debbie at the concierge desk, she seemed irritated. The first time, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, it was 4:45 p.m., and perhaps she was tired. But on another occasion, while speaking with a different staff member about the nature walk, Debbie loudly interrupted and said, “Just be in the lobby at 10 and go.” Her tone was dismissive and noticeably different when speaking with other guests. On my 3rd night, I went to the buffet for dinner. As a solo traveler, I left my belongings on the table to show that the seat was taken, the hostess had assigned me that table. When I returned with my food, a staff member was moving my phone to another table to seat a party of five. I asked what he was doing, and he responded, “Oh, they have a big party—you can sit anywhere.” There were plenty of open tables that could easily accommodate the group. Later, that same staff member approached me and said, “Oh, don’t fight me now,” completely unprovoked. I hadn’t said a word to him after the initial interaction, yet he came back with a comment that felt very suggestive. Other guests witnessed the encounter. To be clear, this isn’t about other vacationers—it’s about noticeable differences in treatment. Being mistaken for staff, spoken to aggressively, and blatantly disregarded was unacceptable. It is also imperative I note, that I do resemble the staff members in complexion and the large party did not, nor did other guests who I saw Debbie smile with as I walked by concierge on various occasions. The Food: The food deserves a 5/10 Overall: Disappointed. The room was unsanitary, and when I asked about receiving a refund to book elsewhere, the front desk said they couldn’t help. The agency, in turn, said they need to communicate with the property. I also met two other vacationers who felt that the photos and reviews they had seen did not match their actual experience. I tried to stay optimistic and hoped things would improve once the initial issues were fixed, poor customer service completely undermined that. This trip was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, and that simply didn’t happen.
