This was our first time at the resort and in Jamaica. We were really excited to go based on all the wonderful reviews of Couples Tower Isle. It's a nice, small, low-key resort with a small but nice beach and good service. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the guests and staff are friendly. We paid for a deluxe ocean view room and it was anything but 'deluxe.' The complaints other reviewers make about the bathrooms are accurate -- our bathroom was small, poorly lit, and barely functioned. We had to call maintenance almost every day because the toilet wasn't flushing and then the shower fixture just completely fell apart on our last full day. The bathroom situation could be improved with some simple fixes like better lighting and some hooks to hang up towels & robes. Overall just not impressed considering the amount we spent on our stay. We were also disappointed with the food, which was one of the main reasons we chose this resort. The options are extremely limited. They are still having supply issues, which is understandable, but several times the menus just didn't match up with what we were served in absurd ways. For example a salad at Bayside was described as "mixed greens with green papaya and peanuts" and it was iceberg lettuce with anemic tomatoes and shredded carrots. At Eight Rivers, supposedly the "fancy" restaurant, I ordered risotto with mushrooms and got a molded pile of rice with cheese broiled on tip and a few roasted summer squash. Apparently the menus are just aspirational? I don't know, we were baffled by everyone's raves about the food. On the positive side, the chef at Bayside made me a special vegetarian entree that was the best meal I had the whole time. If you are vegetarian, prepare to be protein deprived. In addition to all this, one night my husband found a shard of glass in his drink at the bar and a plastic bead in his dessert at the buffet. These issues were met with apologies but no follow up from the resort management. They did offer us a $100 credit on our bill because of the maintenance issues, but this was honestly a drop in the bucket of this $4000 disaster of a week and did not make up for the crappy experience we had.
Not safe or all inclusive

DEFINITELY NOT THE VACATION WE EXPECTED!! A LONG READ BUY A MUST READ, A WOMAN WAS ALLOWED TO BE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED! My wife and I usually do not write reviews as we normally have great experiences, especially in Jamaica, where we travel 2 to 3 times a year!!! This was our first visit to a couples resort so we were very excited!! We were traveling with my wife’s brother and his wife!! We arrived on Christmas Eve to couples tower isle. Upon arrival there were no bell boys, so us and the other couples on the bus had to carry our luggage up the stairs to our own rooms. Upon arriving to our room we entered to find the fridge open and full of wet towels clearly leaking and not working. We contacted front desk and they agreed to send someone up. We decided to go to dinner where we found out one restaurant was closed and we arrived too late for reservations for the sit down restaurants. So the buffet was the only option. The food on the buffet to say the least was all Jamaican food with little to choose from and not very good. We decided it had been a long day so we returned to our room to findable still broken fridge, bugs all over the bathroom sink and no hot water to take a shower. At this point we talked to our first manager who sent up a worker who took a towel and raked the bugs off the sink no spray no anything and said that would take care of it! They did manage to get hot water after finding the valves were turned off in the wall and replaced the refrigerator with another broken refrigerator. For an all inclusive we were shocked to learn no alcohol before 10 except mamosas or your mini bar that we didn’t have lol. There are large gaps in time where there is no food to eat. Nothing before 7, from 1030-1230, from 430-630 and after 11 only burgers and jerk chicken and fries! Had almost every meal they were out of food, and every bar ran out of drinks nightly! One of the bars ran out of ice! The piano bar and lounge smelled so badly we couldn’t use them and many guests said same. My wife was excited about kayaking, but these water sports were unable to be used because they told us the staff was short and too busy cleaning the beach to help us. We were never able to get beach service so far and all inclusive I had to climb stairs every time my wife or I needed a drink. The straw that finally did it was when we woke up and the container I keep my partial plate In was full of bugs ! At this point, we attempted to contact the manager, but they don’t arrive till sometime between 10 and 11 so we had to wait. The manager was unhelpful so at this point I told them we were leaving to find us a resort to move to! They found a spot at San succi so we went to eat while they got it handled! When we went to the grille which was the only thing open. There were 30 people in line and one cook and we were told we wouldn’t get food before we had to leave. That was enough we packed and carried our luggage back down because no bell boys and when my wife said thank you to the manager for sending someone to get our luggage. She was very rude and said you’re welcome. I wanna add also that our brother and sister had to stay behind so we had to split our vacation over this. At San succi at breakfast on Monday morning we met a nice couple who told us an unbelievable story. The night before she was sexually assaulted by the ballon bar when a man groped and fondled her. Her husband immediately contacted security who did nothing and when management was contacted they were told they didn’t know what to do because the guest who committed the assault was a nearly 20 time returning guest! So I guess if you go to couples enough, you’re allowed to do anything you want! The young couple had to contact the police on their own and handle it that way! The man who assaulted her was still on the beach when we were hearing this story! Since returning, we have tried to contact corporate couples and have gotten the runaround no help and no return phone calls. A company that treats people this was and allows the things couples allows is not safe or all inclusive!!! We are normal people who travel a lot, we are not hard to please or have crazy expectations we just want what we pay for and this is the worst experience we have ever had and hope that we can make u think before you choose this place! We love Jamaica and will return just never here!!
