Couples Tower Isle Resort will be undertaking renovations to the Patio Bar beginning August 11, 2025, and through to September 30, 2025.
During this period, the Patio Bar will be temporarily closed. The Lounge on the beach level will be used as an alternate location from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the Games Room will be converted to a Sports Bar which will be open for use daily from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
During the initial phase of the scheduled renovations, guests can expect elevated noise levels due to jackhammering. This work is planned to occur between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
All efforts will be made to minimize any impact to guests during this time.
Overview

This was my and my husband’s first time in Jamaica. We had read the reviews, and it seemed like a good fit. We are not fans of overly large resorts, and we definitely wanted Adults Only, so we went in with an open mind. The resort is about 1.5 hrs away from the airport, but the bus is air conditioned. We were greeted as soon as we got off the bus with cool towels for our faces. It was such a nice gesture! The check in was quick, and we were able to get to our rooms right away. The bellhop took our bags for us and dropped them into the room for us. Right away, he asked if we needed any green. I’m not sure if they ask everyone, or just people who they think may be looking, More on that later ;) As soon as we were settled, we went to the main lobby and made reservations for Eight Rivers and Bayside. We had multiple options for days and time slots. We are not beach people, and the beach is smaller, so the smaller beach wasn’t an issue for us. We would hang out by the pools throughout the days. The first couple of days was a red flag day, but once we were able to, we went to the island. GO…TO…THE… ISLAND!! I was hesitant on trying it, but we went the first day we could, and we both loved it. The vibe is awesome over there. We met some great people around the pool, and it really is a non judgement space. If you need green, go see the dark blue shirts with the water sports. They will get you some good stuff. The pools were great, one with a swim up bar, the other is just a pool, but that one is next to the restaurants and bar. The food was great. There was always lots of variety, and my husband and I never left a table hungry. We found some mornings we just wanted some cold cereal, and they had that too. Multiple mornings I would have a fresh omelet and my husband would have fresh made fried eggs. The entertainment was good, and it wasn’t too late into the night. There was a Jamaican Night, a Gala on Saturday night, and a silent Disco on the rooftop.

This was our first time to Jamaica. We loved the resort which is on the smaller side from our experience. This provided pluses and minuses to our previous visits to all inclusive resorts. A benefit we thoroughly enjoyed was the short walk from our room to the beach, along with the beautiful view over the ocean from our balcony. A drawback to the smaller resort was the quality of evening entertainment was lacking compared to other vacations we have taken. Would this stop us from coming back, absolutely not. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your vacation complete and enjoyable. A few names I remember are Dwight, Karelia, Omar, Ryon, and Jermaine, though these are just a few of the hard-working staff who went above and beyond to make our vacation truly wonderful and we are very grateful????. As has been noted, the rooms are a little dated, but who spends that much time in the room anyways? However, the bed in the room was so comfortable. I am considering calling up the resort to find out what brand they are and where I can get one! We never had an issue with being able to get chairs down on the beach as quite a few of the guests go over to the island during the daytime. Another big incentive to go to this resort are the excursions which are included in the price of the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran ride in the Ocho Rios area, along with the snorkeling trips, which are available. A big thank you once again to all the hard-working people involved with couples tower Isle????
