Very unique experience-safari from our room with giraffes grazing! Beds are comfortable. Food prices were ok for the casual restaurants. Expensive resort, but worth it! Best tip is to wake up early for Disney parks as the lines are shortest then.

Beautiful hotel, so much detail in the hotel and the outside areas, animals seem very happy and well looked after and the zookeepers are very friendly. Food is very nice, the snack bar can be busy at times, the pool area is large with lots of Sun loungers available. All the staff are very friendly, the room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Just the best hotel! The theming is out of this world. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The smell as you walk in the lobby is wonderful! Our room was in a great spot and we loved everything about it - especially seeing the giraffes and other animals from our balcony. The pool area is beautiful and everywhere at the hotel is super clean. I have taken one star away for the Mara quick service - we could always find somewhere to sit but the queues for food are too long! The system they use to go to different counters just doesn’t work. We ended up always pre-ordering for pick-up in the Disney app which worked so much better but do this well in advance as sometimes the pick up wait was up to an hour. I would still return to this hotel though, it was great!

Although my review will get lost in a sea of five stars I felt obliged to add my voice to this. Yea it’s definitely my favorite Disney resort and the view is beautiful. We wake up to giraffes eating outside our window! Pool and hot tubs are public use, but never full so always enjoyable

Unfortunately our stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge is proving to be anything but magical! We found the front desk staff to be very unhelpful & condensing, and were unapologetic when we raised our concerns about the condition of our room. After speaking to WDW Customer Service multiple times over both the phone & chat line, we decided to cut-our-losses and stay at this terrible report for the next 3x day's as it's now to late to find alternative accommodations. Please don't waste your hard-earned money and book at this WDW resort. We previously stayed at the Disney Yacht Club and it was absolutely AMAZING... the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room's were huge and accommodating. Take my advice, for roughly the same cost per night, the Yacht is the much better choice for you and your family. Your kid's will thank you... mine can't stop talking about it!
