Loved it

Toffee70 (Brent Knoll, United Kingdom) on Sep 06, 2024

Such great value and great rooms. This is our first time at a budget Disney resort having stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Caribbean Beach before and it didn’t disappoint. Great pool and the quick service is fine. Would definitely come back, the Lion King Suites are really well laid out and the 2 bathrooms make life easy! Great

BEWARE

james6764 (Mansfield, Ohio) on Aug 24, 2024

Beware of people lurking around. Our daughter and her family just got back from one of the parks, and we're headed to their room. There was a guy in the hallway talking on the phone in a different language. He was wearing a ball cap and trying to hide his face. Our daughter started to get an uneasy feeling. The guy started knocking on a door, and nobody answered. He made eye contact with her, which was unsettling. He was heard telling someone on the phone, "I got a room." She immediately told the oldest of our grandchildren , who is 11 , o run with his sisters. The guy started to run their way. They all got into the room safely. The guy tried to still get into their room. It took forever for security to show up. They wanted to brush it off , aying that the guy was probably just drunk. It wasn't until the daughter raised her voice that people came out of their rooms for them to take it seriously. They did get moved to a whole different area thar night. But the resort, of course, did not make a police report. So, if you want to keep your family safe, consider another resort or always be on the lookout.

Great for family with young kids, 10 years and below

Cute hotel with great decorations for Cars, Finding Nemo and more. Good size family rooms with two bathrooms and a functional kitchenette, great skyliner to Epcot and Hollywood, very convenient, buses to Animal kingdom, Magic kingdom, Disney spring and Typhoon lagoon. The skyliner is great for getting back from the two parks if you stay late for any of the light/firework shows, much better than waiting for a bus or an Uber and trying to get out of the carpark. However, its location is not convenient to anywhere else, so you are isolated onsite and have to eat at their restaurant and snack selection, or take an Uber or a bus to go to Disney spring for different food. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned once every two days. I would recommend go to Walmart to stock up on snacks and water ($3.75 per bottle onsite, still cheaper than $6+ in any of the parks).

Not even a 2 stars hotel, really bad, dirty, and a lot of bugs and spiders in the room

Daniel V on Aug 19, 2024

My stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort was disappointing. The room had a persistent leak in the bathtub, leading to a constantly wet bathroom. Additionally, the cleanliness was lacking, and I encountered three large spiders. These issues significantly impacted my experience, despite the resort's appealing location and themes.

A Fabulous Time

We love this hotel! The theming is amazing. I came with my kids 11 n 12 and my Mum. We had adjoining Mermaid rooms which was perfect. The rooms are big enough and beds very comfy after a mad busy day. The little mermaid pool is great and we were in it most evenings until close at 11. The food court is great as is the Ink and Paint gift shop. The Sky Liner is very efficient unless there is a storm. We did go in the big blue pool which is also very nice. Staff all amazing and helpful. The staff that man the bus stops helping guests are very pleasant. We love the place so much going home was heart breaking! ??
