Staff was great. Rooms small but fine.

Staff was great. Friendly. The rooms were cute. We stayed in building seven in Little Mermaid room. The property was always clean. The restaurant was fast service but prices were good. Pool was heated. Lots of people in there. Not warm enough for me though. Took a long time to get checked in. Would we return? Definitely.

Long weekend for family of five

Roberta L (Greenville, Pennsylvania) on Feb 23, 2026

My family of 5 spent a long weekend at this hotel. We loved our time and felt it was a value for our family. We loved the ease of transportation. The resort is large but easy to navigate. Our room was in the Nemo section. Check in was amazing. Our experience with staff was welcoming.

Family Friendly!

ToneSavvy (Massachusetts) on Feb 15, 2026

We had a four night stay with our kids and grandchild. We stayed in the Lion King section of the resort and the suite was the perfect size for our party of five. I was impressed with the number of activities, pool, grounds and dining hall, all really geared to the kids, which was great for us to experience with/through the eyes of our grandchild. In fact, on our “down day” there was plenty to do and explore right on the resort property. I would highly recommend this value resort. The transportation options and proximity to the parks was top notch.

Animation team at Catalonia Royal La Romana

elenagO4586HG (Baltimore, Maryland) on Feb 11, 2026

I want to write a review about the great animation team of this resort, Armendi, Fernando, Sequetel and Beba get guests engaged in activities during the day and night, they are an extraordinary team of people that work very hard to make our stay pleasant and fun. There are also singers almost every night prior to a show of dancers or this year they had a neon show along with acrobats and a robot on stilts that was fantastic then a silent dance that was a lot of fun. In general there are activities at night and for those that have learned the different dances at the beach during the day, they get to practice what they learned at night.

Wouldn’t recommend if you have toddlers

stefy8785 (Miami Beach, Florida) on Feb 09, 2026

This was the first and last time staying at this resort. I am a AP holder and decided to try a different Disney Resort than my usual go to. Big mistake! The rooms were tiny. Far from the main entrance. Only one bus at the main entrance. The skyliner takes you to Epcot and Hollywood studios. But if you travel with a toddler and take the Skyliner, you have to take it back to the resort. We got stuck in the front looking for the bus to the resort and security told us we had to walk back all the way to the end of Epcot to catch the Skyliner to the resort. We ended up taking an Uber because with a cranky 2 year old walking all the way back was not an option. These things are told to you when you stay there.
