Decent hotel, but not great. It was clean, but in desperate need of a remodel. The sleeping area was too hot and the front of the room was too cold. The air conditioner was very loud. The breakfast was good and staff in the eating area were very pleasant. Not as nice as other Embassy Suites I’ve been to.
Liked it so much that we will definitely repeat!

As a couple, we stayed here for one week. We had a rental car and drove in from the Palm Springs airport. A lot of parking at the hotel itself and we even managed to park in the shade. Check in was fast and although we were a bit early our room was ready for us. The room had a balcony with pool and mountain view. It was great to have an early morning coffee on the balcony. Room has coffee and tea with sugar, and creamer. Very convenient for that first cup of coffee in the morning. Kitchen area has a small fridge and a microwave oven. The suite had ample space with a sofa and TV "Sitting room" and another TV in the bedroom. We had 2 queen beds. Very comfortable beds and several pillows to choose from. Slept very well on all nights and the nights were quite . The bathroom has everything you could need including soaps, conditioner, shampoo and lotion. I counted over 10 USB outlets for charging electronics. That included 2 USB outlets right on the microwave! The Air-conditioner worked well although it was a bit noisy but we found that if we closed the bathroom door at night, it made the bedroom quieter. The thermostat is adjustable. The included hot breakfast was great with something for everyone. We really appreciated the breakfast and actually for us it made us decide on THIS hotel compared to a hotel that does not include breakfast. The reception in the afternoon is a great idea. We looked forward to it after a day of hiking and sightseeing. You get a card that entitles you to 2 beverages for each day of your stay. The food at the restaurant was of high quality. We had Chicken burger, Salads and Club sandwich and we enjoyed them all!! The Staff: The staff was wonderful! Everyone was so helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast / restaurant staff. Michelle and Jaime were super at the bar evening reception. I also appreciated the waitresses and the waiter that took our orders for dinner. It is the staff that really makes for a great hotel and we truly appreciated the staff here.
Above and Beyond

We have been staying at the Embassy Suites La Quinta for around 15 years, which speaks for itself in terms of how much we love our gem in the desert. Over the year's we have not had lots of interaction with staff other than restaurant and bar staff during stays, and they have always been very nice and attentive. This year, as we knew we had 13 nights we had spent months in the UK sourcing a bottle of wine made by an American company called Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co, we couldn't get it in England and arranged for it to be delivered to us while at the property. Unfortunately the delivery didn't go as planned and the wine was misdelivered by UPS. Mike (General Manager) and his front desk and back office staff went above and beyond to trace the package by contacting UPS for us, and the wine was traced and delivered around 10 hours later. We can't thank you all enough for helping us, it was literally irreplaceable to us.
as good as I remembered the brand

Our group of friends get together each summer, in the Coachella Valley. This year, the designated hotel was Embassy Suites by Hilton La Quinta Hotel & Spa. When worked a corporate job that required a lot of travel, I used to stay at Embassy Suites--but that was decades ago. However, many of the positive features attractive to "road warriors" are still here. Check in was fast and easy. The rooms are suites: As you enter the suite, you find a small living room with a sofa, sitting chair, reading lamp, television and small dining table. In the hall leading to the bedroom, there is a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bedroom has a bed(s) and wall mounted television and work shelf. House keeping is doing a good job. The carpets were clean, and there were no stains. The furniture surfaces were clean; there were no noticeable nicks or chips. The mattresses were very comfortable; the sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom is where you see the most wear and tear--but it was very clean. The maid also came in daily to tidy up. Back in the day, happy hour provided an unlimited number of drinks. Nowadays, they seem to have reeled it back to two drinks per person. (I guest some guest got "too happy". *joke*) The breakfast provided was very good. The pool is small, but works for cooling and basking. There are restrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse.
