Good For The Price

The room was clean, which is the most important to me. But thg shower stall was no bigger than 4" across which is very uncomfortable in that i am a big guy. The molding in the shower was stained, rusted and cracked in areas. The faucet was coming loose out of the sink. The bed needs replacing for sure and was too soft for me to get a good nights sleep, There is no designated dining area). The breakfast is makeshift and assembled in a small conferen.e room in the lobby that left much to be desired in terms of both appearance and food selection.
Great Area!

Great area! Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Clean & good size accommodations, as usual at Embassy Suites. Fantastic, hot, made-to-order breakfast. Pool area was clean and comfortable to relax, both hot tub & soaking tub. Very friendly breakfast staff. I’d definitely return with my family. Great home base for adventuring in the Palm Springs/La Quinta/Coachella Valley/Thermal area.
Great hotel close to La Quinta old town

This is a great hotel with a nice lobby, clean rooms, sumptuous breakfast and friendly service. The check-in and check-out experiences were smooth and quick. The front desk staff were friendly and gave us enough information at check-in about the breakfast, happy hour, parking and our room. The check-out was pretty quick too. The hotel lobby and atrium are spectacular and really add a lot of charm to the hotel. There is a sense of openness due to the wide layout of the lobby and the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. There were 2 queen beds in the bedroom, a dining table with 2 chairs plus a sofa bed in the living room. The room also had a mini-fridge. The bathroom was spacious as well. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices including a variety of breads, muffins, cereals, juices plus some fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, pancakes and meat items. The main highlight was the made-to-order omelette station where you could get omelettes or fresh scrambled eggs with not much of a wait. There were a lot of open tables and it never felt crowded in the restaurant despite the holiday time. Overall, the breakfast buffet more than met our expectations. The hotel was also well located, very close to Old Town La Quinta and close to multiple restaurants. We could just walk to the Old Town and enjoy the Holiday lights. The only downside of the hotel was that housekeeping service was only every 4 or 5 days which was a minor inconvenience for us. Other than that, the hotel was definitely a great find in La Quinta.
Beautiful hotel

Nice grounds. Very nice hotel .. Surrounded by beautiful mountains. Breakfast was very nice. Both buffet and eggs made to order. Room was nice and roomy. Our only problem was with eating dinner in the lobby. Over 2 and a half hours to get our food
Very Nice Hotel, but...

We returned to this hotel based on an earlier stay, which we found most enjoyable. However, there's no way I'd give the hotel 5 stars when I ask for a quiet room on an upper floor with no connecting rooms, and I'm given a connecting room on the second floor by noisy elevator equipment. Presumably nobody reads or honors requests when assigning rooms. That said, the hotel is otherwise very reasonable and good value, and notwithstanding my complaint about room assignment, we'd probably stay again. Our room was well appointed, and appeared to have been recently renovated. The bathroom was acceptable, but the sink faucet was loose, and the sink didn't hold water, so some minor maintenance issues. Strong shower with selectable nozzles. Room was clean and spacious. Good TV with on-screen program listings, wifi worked well, although we're not power users. Breakfast was good, although limited beyond the (excellent) omelet station; no waffle machine. We appreciated the ceramic plates and metal cutlery on the Friday we were there, but on Saturday and Sunday they only provided paper plates and plastic cutlery - boo! Large eating area so no difficulty in finding a place to sit. The hotel is located a little out of the way for overall Palm Springs area, but access is easy. Lots of eating places in "downtown" La Quinta, just across the street from the hotel. Despite the proximity to the elevator machinery, and associated background noise, with the door to the bedroom closed, we slept well.
