Great location. Across from old town, if your there Sunday morning there is a farmers market across the street. Dinner snack and drinks were nice.Pool was warm,jacuzzi under repair. One of the best breakfast for a hotel, loved the made to order omelette.

We travel a lot as a family with tweens and teens and this is hands down one of the best places we’ve stayed in the last few years. Everyone was so nice and relaxed. The room was totally clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was heated and opened really reasonable hours. The bartenders were great at happy hour and the breakfast buffet, with made to order omelettes, was more than enough for our boys. Henry was such a gracious host too. We ordered in so we could watch a football game, but there were several good restaurants right across the street. We enjoyed walking around the farmers’ market there on Sunday morning and got some snacks for the road. We’re generally Marriott people but Embassy Suites La Quinta made me rethink this loyalty. Wife contracted Covid prior to our arrival, she explained to staff business office travel would be cancelled as a result of health constraints. We prefer to protect ourselves and the people around us which is the right choice to make. Believe a full night charge penalty may not be the best decision since we travel frequently.
Not up to par for a Hilton property

My wife and I decided to get away for a weekend in La Quinta. Being a Hilton Honors Diamond member we chose to stay at this property. I paid for one night and used American Express points for the other night. I tried to check in early and was told my room wasn’t ready yet. They promised to text me when it was ready. That didn’t happen. When I went back to the desk I was given a different room than I paid for… telling me it was an upgrade… into one of the bungalows. I had paid for a corner room with a balcony. This room had no balcony. The next day they had me change rooms because whatever points I used weren’t enough for their ‘upgraded room’. Their breakfast and evening reception were nice. The bartender at the reception was great. The stay ended with them attempting to charge me $6.50 for a bottled water. I never drank, touched or even thought about drinking a $6 water. I had to call to get my money refunded. Very unprofessional. Also, this is the first Hilton I’ve ever visited where my credit card was actually charged the fee for incidentals. Usually it’s just a ‘hold’. This place found it necessary to charge my card and then refund it later on. Very unprofessional. I won’t be back
Wonderful experience. Won’t stay anywhere else when visiting La Quinta or the rest of the valley.

The hotel staff was amazing. The wonderful service started the the moment we entered our room. It was exactly as promised with the walk-in (roll-in) shower. The rooms were beautiful. The bedding and pillows were high quality, as were the amenities. Wonderful made to order breakfasts and one evening we ordered room service for dinner. Very good food. I must give extra stars to Gina who went out of her way to make sure everything was what I asked for, as I have a couple of medical issues. Also, Tyler, helped us with breakfast, because of my oxygen situation. This is the place to stay. Not one bad moment there.
