Great family trip

This was our second time back to this hotel. Staff is AMAZING!! That’s all I have to say. They are so attentive and kind. This is what brought us back. The concierge Juan Reyes was so kind and helpful. Loved him!! Marcos the omelette maker. That guy is awesome! Expert at making your eggs and works his butt off in that heat behind that cook top! We miss you Marcos! All of the servers were so attentive and work hard to serve you. Especially Iselas beautiful smile and Esmeralda’s beautiful smile. Mario in Cocomar. Andre and Francisca in La Luce Daniel, Jose and Eduardo by the pool and Jacqueline in the lobby bar We did have a few hiccups when we got there like our air conditioning wasn’t working but they fixed it that night (actually when we came the first time two years ago, our sink drain was clogged and they came right away to fix it too) Like I said, they work hard to please you. We also booked an excursion with the guy there that sells the excursions by the towels but the trip was a dud and didn’t work out so well as it was a snorkelling trip and the guy on the boat had no snorkelling gear for kids (we had our 8 year old and 11 year old girls with us. We brought it to the managers attention though and he apologized and handled it and we thankfully got our money back. We found the steaks were cooked way too much at the steak restaurant as well. They were too charcoaled. They were awesome when we came two years ago but must have changed cooks. Also, I have to mention too that the house wine that they offer wasn’t great. For the amount of money you pay a night, they should invest in some better house wine and a house sake for the Asian restaurant and not have to pay $70-90 Canadian for a decent bottle of wine. Just saying!! Those were honestly minor things though. I’m just mentioning them because maybe they’ll improve those parts (but only our opinion) The staff are amazing at this hotel. Our rooms both times were super clean. Comfy beds. Beautiful views from your deck. Mostly great food. We loved La Luce by the way. All in all it was another wonderful trip. Thanks Hilton for another great stay and for working so hard to please us all that come to relax.

The hotel was wonderful overall. The room was spotless thanks to the daily housekeeping and turndown service. As a Diamond member, I was upgraded to a premium oceanfront room, and the view was absolutely stunning. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Celeste at the concierge desk—she was a huge help in arranging our restaurant reservations and cabana rental. While the food across the resort was fairly average, Maxal, the Mexican restaurant, truly stood out. Exael and Bryan, our servers, provided excellent service, and the fresh guacamole made right at our table was one of the highlights of the entire stay! The beach in front of the hotel was also fantastic—my son spent nearly the whole day snorkeling right there and had an amazing time. It was so convenient to have such a beautiful and accessible spot just steps away. We were also touched by the thoughtful surprises for our anniversary and the lovely farewell gift—it made our stay even more memorable.
