Wonderful staff above & beyond.

The staff at this Resort are incredible. Our breakfast servers on the patio in the main buffet knew my coffee / drink order daily. Enrique and the pool bar staff were so wonderful & our servers specifically Brayan Gerardo at the Asian restaurant and his team were top notch. Beach was lovely and protected pools, had kayaks. Lots of beach chairs not just cabanas. Gorgeous views from all areas of the hotel. Overall very happy. I will say I was disappointed with the gym, small/tight atea to workout and there was a leaky sprinkler right over where you work with weights. Didn’t smell great and not very nice space. The first 4 nights we were in a regular room and it was the first one next to the lobby. Once we moved to our upgraded room it was gorgeous but the first room was not worth the $$ to be kept up throughout the night and putting up with the noise. Also didn’t even have robes took us 3 days to get them in regular room.

Bathroom had a significant amount of mold in the shower. Had to ask repeatedly for fresh towels and face cloths and most time we had to ask twice. The service was hit or miss. Some areas/restaurants had amazing service (Sergio at La Luce), while other areas (lounge chairs by the food trucks) were terrible. I don't think this was the servers fault because that server was also expected to run the fresh coconut drink stand, which prevented them from properly serving the people in their area. The buffet was like any other, it was fine but not special. The staff in the buffet, however, were all great and attentive. La Luce is the best restaurant on site by a long shot. Ask to be seated in Sergio's area. I am a Hilton diamond member meaning I spend a lot of money with them every year and I was offered zero recognition for my member status because they had opted to give all the benefit of my membership level to Air Canada Vacations instead of their loyal customer. Because of this, there is no benefit for my family to vacation at a Hilton property and I doubt we'll be back. Nothing stood out as great except for the nightly entertainment (but they rotate through several resorts so really not specific to this resort), a few staff members, and the new friends we met while on the trip. Bottom line is it's OK, not great.

Great food, service and ambiance

We visited Cocomar in the Hilton Riviera. Armando was our waiter and David was our server and both did an outstanding job explaining the menu. Great experience and the food was good. The server asked us where we wanted to sit so we could have a view of the ocean.

Great hors d’oeuvres, and great service, and friendly environment The servers go above and beyond! The food was delicious, fresh fish, paired with delectable sauces. You must try. Sunam! Bryan is one of the best servers that has been serving for a couple years. He will take care of you..

Spring break at Hilton Purto Vallata

Our family and friends family had a great time at Hilton Purto Vallarta : beautiful ocean beach front hotel, huge swimming pool, warmest staff, great amenities and services. Buffet breakfast and lunch all excellent. The last night We had dinner at the Italian restaurant La Luce, Andre and Rodrigo gave our group one of most memorable dining experiences, incredibly attentive services, highly recommended!
