The first night we got there our 14m old daughter stood up in the crib at one point and the bottom fell out. We found loose screws and metal parts underneath. Thankfully she was not hurt. They promptly replaced the crib that night and called our room to apologize. (And gave us a bottle of wine/chocolates a couple days later) Unfortunately though, this is a serious safety concern so it is hard to justify a higher rating. Food was decent. We liked the Italian night. Service was quick. They provided a lot of extras for baby/toddler. I would just recommend bringing your own pack and play if you have a baby/toddler. Side note: if you’re on the bottom floor facing the beach, put a rolled up towel in front of the door at night. Little crabs kept making their way in from under the door lol Otherwise, it was cool being so close to the ocean.
Wonderful hotel in every way

We spent 9 days at Iberostar just before Christmas. It was a wonderful experience in every way. We were upgraded to a room overlooking the ocean which was a plus. We paid extra but it was worth it. Excellent service. The hotel was not overcrowded so we had no problem finding chairs by the pool or beach. Pleasant grounds. Dining choices were very good, from the buffet to the coffee shop to the snack bars. Special thumbs up to the Mexican restaurant which was excellent and no reservations required. One criticism: we were not impressed with the steak house where we needed reservations. The steak was not done how I ordered it, and was as tough as shoe leather. But all in all, the hotel is an excellent choice for travellers.
