We spent the month of February 2024 at this wonderful resort. It wasn't our first time staying here so we knew what we signed up for and it didn't disappoint at all. In fact we liked the month of February so much we went back in April for a week to celebrate my wife's retirement. Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an ticked off all of our boxes. We always felt very safe and were able to relax with out a worry in the world. We met so many people while on our vacation its is truly going to be difficult trying to acknowledging them all and I am sure to miss some of them so I apologize to anyone that I missed. I guess the best way to do this is to describe how one of our days went. Usually we would start our day by going for a walk around the Bahia Principe property taking in the sites and sounds around the golf course and looking at the wild life and beautiful grounds always feeling safe as you are in a gated community . After our walk our first stop would be to main bar at Sian Kaan where Gabriella would make us the best Americano to start the day. During our coffee it was time to do Wordle and Connections and decide if it was going to be a beach or pool day. (tough life). Many times during our morning coffee we would be greeted by Alejandro Garcia from Guest Services, he would ask how things were and he could help us with anything. Alejandro even arranged for a bottle of sparkling wine and personal letter to be in the room upon our arrival to celebrate my wife's retirement. Alejandro is a real ambassador for Sian Kaan and is an expert at his job...we expect to see him move up the ladder quickly. After coffee it was off to breakfast at the buffet. Here we were greeted with a smile and Daniel (Captain) would seat us and make sure that my wife's gluten allergy was taken care of. Chef Aaron's gluten free delicacies were very much appreciated(All food pictures are gluten free). From here it was back to the room to get ready for the beach or pool. The beach is a little rocky so bring some water shoes, the pools are crystal clear and always refreshing. We never had a problem getting a chair on beach or pool. We always made or way back to Sian Kaan for lunch as you cant beat the buffet there . There may not be as much to choose from as the other 3 Bahia Principe resorts but the quality of food more than makes up the difference...Plus Aaron would make my wife a wonderful lunch. The best gluten free pizza I've ever tried. If Aaron had a day off or had to work at the Cenote Snack Bar Chef Myra would look after my wife's dietary restrictions. It didn't matter who the waiter/waitress was you never had to wait long for your favorite drink or a soup spoon to be delivered (if you had soup) to your table. A couple of our favorites were Ramone , Suemi, Alina, Susana and Eglady who would give a Spanish lesson each day we had her. After lunch it was back to pool for the afternoon and more sun shine. After the pool it was back to the room for a shower and get cleaned up for the evening. Evenings usually started at the lobby bar for a pre-dinner cocktail and a few games of cards. During this time many times Iago the manager of Sian Kaan would stop by and make sure everything in the room was fine and if we needed anything. It so nice to see top management being hands on, out and about and not hidden in an office avoiding the guests. Almost all of our suppers were Al a Cartes. Be sure to use the Bahia Principe App to book your a la cartes early as the fill up fast. One of our favorite restaurants were Katok where Alexander took care of us , even though it is a steak house, the jerk chicken is fantastic and the brie cheese appetizer is amazing. Our other favorite restaurant is Alux...in our opinion it is the best of the best. Never a bad meal and the service is truly amazing . Roque is a great server BUT the other Roque (with glasses ) is our absolute favorite. You cannot beat his service with attention to detail with the timing of each course coming to the table and never an empty wine glass. We will be back!!
Relaxing Vacation

We had been at this resort 9 years ago and thought we would try it again. We would go back again, the price was reasonable for what you receive. The rooms could use a little update but they are very clean. Food was good, a lot of variety. Staff are lovely, very helpful and kind. The ride to the ocean was easy but our last few days we spent at the quiet pool by Alux and it was amazing. Only disadvantage is distance from Cancun airport but we knew that when we booked
