Perfect hotel for a San Diego stay

Desiring to be close to the airport for an early morning flight, I chose this Sheraton and what a fantastic surprise! I stayed in one of the recently updated rooms and found it beautiful and comfortable. Everything from the pool to the restaurants to the lobby bar exceeded my expectations. The first shuttle of the morning, scheduled for 4:45 actually left at 4:35 making my airline check in smooth and stress free. The staff is friendly and the location can't be beat. Will be back!

Sailboats and Views!

Shuttle provided from the airport, rooms are good size although decor is a little dated. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, there is a restaurant on-site (great pizza!) and it was very quiet. There are actually 2 buildings that are part of the Sheraton with a walking path (5 minute walk) in between the buildings. Along the path are sailboats and several businesses/restaurants that are interesting to visit. There is a popular walking path across the road that runs alongside the bay that is heavily used by walkers and joggers. We were attending a conference at the hotel -- the ballroom was also nice, convenient, well set-up and the breakfast/lunch were wonderful! The hotel is several miles from the downtown/Convention Center area which works well if you have a car.

Sheraton success

Front desk staff was awesome and super accommodating and concierge recommended a great Mexican place for dinner. Great service provided all around. Superb views as well and a very modern and clean gym. Would definitely stay there again next trip to San Diego

Arrogance ruined guest experience

We stayed there from 3/11-3/12/2025. The view is amazing and the room was renovated. It would have been a 5-star experience but the service ruined it. I was at middle of the shower to find out the shower gel bottle was empty. It was very embarrassing that I had to rush out half dry-and call the front desk. The guy in front desk told me they have recently run out of shower gel and he was not apologetic or offered me shower bar etc. I said you could have given notices to guest at check in and provided shower bar instead. And he said nothing to my suggestion. I don’t expect that kind of arrogance in a reputable hotel!

Great Location Exceptional View

This is a newly refurbished hotel right on the water with excellent views of Mission Bay and the marina. The higher the floor the better the view. We were on the 10th floor on the west side and the sunsets were breathtaking. They do advertise room service and we took advantage of it once for breakfast but here’s the thing. We had to beg for a menu and it was really more like a bad Uber Eats delivery in a brown paper bag with cold food that only had to come up from downstairs. They provided no utensils—not even a napkin. When we ate in the actual restaurant, Rumarosa, it was a much better experience. The food and the service was great. You also have 3 restaurants less than a mile away. Well worth the short drive. The parking fees are ridiculous ($50 self parking per day) but I think you pay for the privilege of being so close to Mission Bay. You’re in a good location for freeway access as well. The room was clean and comfortable, the view was awesome, we love C Level for their Seafood Louie so all things considered we would stay there again.
