The hotel is beautiful, situated next to a Marina with views to the city or towards Pt Loma. We had a balcony overlooking the bay and Marina. There are two big pools, service was great, beds comfortable. I’m from San Diego and went for an event. But thinking now to take the whole family for a staycation. Super convenient to airport for travelers .

Excellent hôtel with all the facilities located minutes from the airport on the harbor. There are 2 different buildings making up this hotel. 1380 Harbor Island Drive and 1590 Harbor a island Drive. 1380 is by far nicer and newer. 1590 is undergoing renovations in the lobby. We were lucky to have stayed in 1380 while the rest of our party stayed in 1590. They had to walk the 5-10 minutes to our building for the breakfast buffet and were disappointed to be staying in the older building. If you're staying in 1380, you'll be very happy here. Both buildings offer the same great views either facing the city or facing the harbor. Our room had a small terrace perfect for morning coffee with great views of downtown. A beautiful property offering shuttle service to the airport as well as a shuttle between the buildings. Uber to Balboa Park was around $15, the gaslamp district was $13, and Seaport Village was just $10.

It was a great resort, super nice hotel, they had the option upon checking in to have house keeping each day or by request, I said by request, but when I requested it, they didn't flip the sheets nor did they do any real cleaning, they just took out the trash and left more supplies behind (like coffee and towels) it was very disappointing, especially since I felt I was doing them a favor by not having maid service each day for my 4 night stay. Maybe the staff should just be more considerate of how long a room has been without house keeping. Next time I would just have it each day. Food is expensive, well everything was expensive there, but a real nice place. Close to some real neat places, only an $8 Uber away.

The newly renovated Sheraton had a California coastal aesthetic that went with its close proximity to the bay. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. I recommend upgrading to a room with a view of the downtown skyline and bay or view of the bay and boats.

Wonderful view at the bay, excellent food, nice staff. We stayed at the bay tower, despite rooms aren't updated, they are huge and comfy with a wonderful patio. La rumorosa rest highly recommended! The buffet is fresh and delicious !!!!!!!
