My husband and I recently stayed at the Sheraton and had a very uncomfortable experience with an employee named Michelle. From the moment we interacted with her, she was rude, gave us dirty looks, and made us feel completely unwelcome during our stay. What made the situation even worse was how she constantly seemed to belittle us with her attitude and the way she spoke to us. Hospitality staff should make guests feel respected and valued, but Michelle’s behavior came across as judgmental, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping guests feel comfortable, she made us feel looked down on and unwelcome the entire time. I honestly don’t know who interviewed or hired her, but management seriously needs to reevaluate whether she represents the level of customer service the Sheraton wants associated with its brand. We expected much better treatment and hope this issue is addressed so other guests don’t have the same experience.

First off - big difference between Marina Tower, which was renovated and Bay Tower which was not. Second, beware of VIP Suites which may not have King Beds even though their records show that they are Kings, they are Queens and some of them are Murphy Beds. Our first room 1292 was an end room with a patio (which could host a big party and a FABULOUS view! It had a Queen Murphy bed. So we were switched to 1286 which had a regular Queen bed, but had not dresser, couch, drawspace in night stands but was listed as a King. One of the managers sent up an engineer who agreed that the room was mismatched, but that was it. Finally, Harmony at the front desk helped us to resettle into a great NORMAL king sized room and she did everything she could to make us feel settled in for the night and accomodated. From that point on, in a somewhat fully equipped room, the hotel showed its value and worth. Some of the items are outdated and need to be updated (like the outlet situation) and the furnishings. Overall the hotel was adequate for our family function. The Corporate Management after the stay was responsive and made us feel heard- Kudos to Yasenia, Bianca and Harmony (from the property) for your help and responsiveness.

Unexpected stay after our flight was canceled. But we would actually come back just to stay at this hotel and see the area.
