Fabulous place to stay; highly recommend

H2422WZkims (Troy, Missouri) on Jan 10, 2026

A wonderful 5-night stay with family and friends. The resort was well-maintained, our 2 bedroom room was spacious, and the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and highly attentive to our needs. We don't often repeat places to stay, but our family agreed that this place was well worth returning to in the future! We loved the small amount of guests on the property even when they are at full capacity. We never had to fight for a beach chair, table, or wait in any kind of line. Our two young sons made lots of friends with the other kids staying there as well as with many staff members. We highly recommend the Blue Haven.

Loved Our Time at Blue Haven!

Me and My Wife went to blue Haven in August 2025. The resort was beautiful. The customer service was outstanding and the entire trip beginning to end was magical! We loved the smaller resort, our room backed right up to the beach, so it was very convenient to go from our room to the beach. Shaneka Russell was outstanding! I know she meets new guests daily, but she always made a point to check in with us and make us feel seen and appreciated. She was phenomenal! We will definitely be going back to Blue Haven!

Beautiful, quiet resort with friendly staff. Highly recommend. Good for families.

I am writing to report on a great time I had with my family (husband and teen + tween) at the Blue Haven resort over the holiday week in December 2025 to January 2026. I also observed much younger families and was impressed with the versatility in being able to meet the needs of many. This is a quiet place to go to relax - it's not a party spot and it's possible you'll get bored with limited options after a while. That said, it was comfortable, beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The resort is small and well-adapted to families, with easy access to the pool and beach. While I read some complaints that the beach is manmade, I didn't really notice nor care. It's not the "powder" of Grace Bay but rather similar to an East Coast beach in the US. It didn't feel fake like the beaches in Dubai. What I did appreciate about the location was the amount of sea life we had access to thanks to our proximity to mangroves just across the way, as well as easy signout of kayaks and paddle boards. A small gazebo at the end of a walkway also overlooked a channel where you could see sea turtles, and where tropical fish swam amongst the rocks below (no snorkeling necessary!) I also felt that (unlike many other places) I didn't really experience a struggle to get pool / beach chairs if we wanted them, nor were seats at the restaurants lacking either. Accommodations: We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, and I have no complaints at all. We weren't really in the room that much either. The food at the restaurants was good, but it felt like choices were limited (there aren't that many places to eat, and service can be slow or inconsistent (be prepared). At the same time, staff at the restaurant and throughout the resort was exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful. With children and teens alike, the activities staff managed to engage everyone with ping pong, foosball and trivia - thank you to Smiley, Coco and Tweety and others!). The hospitality and dining team were also accommodating, helpful and kind: T'Ange, Daphne, Jackson, Denilson, Carmen, Gerald, Michael - their ongoing good natured help and patience throughout the week was so appreciated. I also enjoyed my experience getting my nails done with Alondra. (My only real complaint/ 'feedback' was that as someone who eats gluten-free, the menu highlighted vegetarian/vegan/gluten free items inconsistently leading to confusion (such as indicating GF for certain starters, but not indicating which mains might be gluten free), and there would rarely be a gluten free dessert option. Sometimes it felt like my food options were limited, although most of the time what I could choose was tasty so I wasn't unhappy overall.) A final note: While I'd like to say I'll return to the resort, the departure experience at the airport would make me think twice. If you're going to Turks and Caicos for the first time, be forewarned that the airport is handling more flights and people than it was built for. When flights get delayed, or the airport gets backed up for any reason, it can be hot, crowded, chaotic and stressful (and lacking in anywhere to sit). It's easier to handle with older kids, tougher with younger kids.

Best Bartender at Blue Haven

Great time with Yessica, at the bar, creating cocktails for the family and accepting a challenge to make one not on the menu or thought of.
