Great service, great location

I've been to Vancouver many times, but I haven't been there since 2019. I was a little worried because I heard that Vancouver was a little sketchier than it used be. I thought it was perfectly fine though. I walked to Chinatown, and you should definitely avoid East Hastings, but other than that I thought that it was just as safe as my previous visits. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in all different areas of Vancouver, but this location was great because it's still close to all of the shops on Robson, but also close to the water and near excellent restaurants. I usually stay at the Sutton Place which I absolutely love, but thought I'd try something new. This is a typical Marriott Hotel, with a nice concierge lounge, but what makes it stand out in my opinion is the staff. We had exceptional service from the Bellman to Housekeeping. Prassad, the Bellman, was one of the best that I've ever encountered. He provided excellent service, and was so nice that he made you feel like you were long time friends. and not just a guest for 5 nights. I'm from Hawaii, and I think Prassad embodied the "aloha spirit" in every way. The Marriott Pinnacle is very lucky to have him as an employee.
Ideal Location for Convention Center Events

Stayed at the Marriott Pinnacle in Vancouver and had a great experience overall. The location is perfect — just steps away from the Convention Center, which made it incredibly convenient for attending a summit. Rooms were comfortable, staff (haremeet, sorry for the misspelling) were courteous, and the property is well-maintained. It’s a solid choice for business travelers or anyone looking to be in the heart of downtown. Would definitely stay here again for any future events or conferences in the area.
