Very old and run down resort

This is definitely NOT a 5 star resort. It might have been at one time, but not anymore! We found that the pics on line must have been from years ago as this is our personal experience from our recent stay in April 2024. We stayed in the Sanctuary part of the Grand Memories in Varadero. I've attached pics showing fixtures that are falling off the wall, there was a cockroach in our room, we saw crows and birds fly in to the Grand Buffet and eat the food right out of the buffet! I would definitely not stay here again.
Diamond Club staff at Grand Memories are EXCEPTIONAL!!
