Just terrible. Not sure where all positive reviews are coming from.

Not sure where to start bur this is not our first time at Cuba but this is the worst experience experience ever. 1- no a/c or it's blowing very low. Literally no a/c in the lobby, theater, buffet. Ppl seating outside of theater to see the show. Its a hot sauna inside. No a/c in the room. After calling the technician they said it's a Cuban thing bs. They only have a/c in lobby store but expect to pay premium for that. Double the price for sigars. What a joke. 2- food is terrible. No eggs. No milk. No veggies. Omelets from powder, same with milk. You have to come early to get something otherwise you will be left with edible stuff. We are not picky but all the ppl in the hotel feel the same. 3- pool is green. It's fool of mold, sand and algae. You can see it from from the color of the water and green mold everywhere. 4- no service. They are expecting for you to tip with no service in return. 5- no activity. 6- drinks just regular. Worst Pina colada i've tried in years. This our first and last time at this hotel. You always go to Iberostar chain everywhere but this one is just terrible and disappointing. It looks like the staff want to let it die until it closed and nobody wants to go there. No repairs, improvements, everything is just covered with rust, mold and dust. I just feel sorry for people coming from Europe for this, spending 13 hours on the plane. Don't go here. Spend your money in other hotel in Cuba or other country. I understand it's a Cuban thing but that's not the case in this hotel.
Amazing and relaxing 2 weeks!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks here in Feb 2024- room was lovely, food was plentiful and delicious and all staff were welcoming and so helpful! Planning to return in 2025 - would love to have an email address to arrange room preference before we go.
