Nice and relaxed though quite large.

A very peaceful and relaxed resort to stay in. The quick service has a nice selection of food though the menu could hold a little more options, though there are other places to eat. The resort is quite spread out so getting to certain areas requires a bus which could be quite difficult for some. The pools are again nice and chilled. The resort busses are great but depending on where you are situated you are either first on with a long ride or last with a shorter one (close to reception) but may be full, so a few more buses in the mornings could be good. But the water taxis to Disney springs is a nice option, though be good to have more info on timings or arrival and departure etc. The one bedroom suites are very spacious and very comfy with large baths etc so very comfortable, clean and accommodating.
A very positive experience

You may never read this review because it's positive, and who likes positive reviews right? Still, we had a great time staying at Saratoga Springs. Our group was four adults in the standard room. It has a queen bed and a double murphy bed. Having stayed a variety of Disney resorts, this one has about 100 square feet more space, which you really notice, particularly in the bathroom and hallway. The walk in shower isn't crammed right up against the toilet as is often the case. The small kitchenette provided an extra sink, and counter space. We never felt overcrowded, which happens in some resorts. A few other points: -We stayed in The Paddock section, but our closest bus stop was at Congress Park next door. (A less than 5-minute walk). -The walk to the lobby/check in/giftshop/food court was further, a good ten minutes, but we didn't mind. -The resort is very large, but walking was fine as it's a gorgeous property. -We never waited longer than 10 minutes for a bus to or from the parks, and it was usually closer to 5 minutes as the bus schedule is right there in the My Disney Experience App (which is super convenient). -We only ate one meal at the resort food court, Artist's Point, it was nice and had plenty of menu choices. It's small and there isn't much seating, but that's the case in a lot of these resorts. However, we got through the line and found seating quickly, so no complaints. -The staff was very friendly, not only answering our questions at the front desk, but also giving us the history of the Disney animated horses on the walls in the lobby. They acted proud of where they worked and wanted to educate us about it. I appreciated that. -I can't comment on housekeeping because we didn't use it during our 4-night stay, though they did empty the trash each day while we were gone. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again. We're not DVC members, so we used points through David's DVC rentals to get this room for a great price.
