Earning WestJet dollars
How members earn WestJet dollars
Just provide your member number at the time of booking or sign-up for one of the WestJet RBC® credit cards and start earning your way to your next adventure.

When you fly on a WestJet-marketed flight, you’ll earn a percentage of the base fare back in WestJet dollars. Earn rates are subject to your tier status at the time of travel and the more you travel the more you can earn. Check out our Tiers and benefits page to learn more about earn rates.
When you book a WestJet Vacations package, each WestJet Rewards member in the booking will be awarded WestJet dollars for their proportionate share of the total base price. A WestJet Vacations package is a minimum of airfare on WestJet-marketed flights and accommodation, sold for a combined base package price for up to nine guests on a single booking. Earn rates are subject to each member’s individual tier status at the time of travel.
Earn even more WestJet dollars by making other travel bookings and get fully rewarded for your travel: car rentals and land-only bookings, which includes meal plans, airport transfers, attractions or hotel bookings made through WestJet Vacations. Members earn one per cent on the base price, regardless of tier status.
You also earn WestJet dollars when you book and fly with WestJet’s network of partner airlines: Delta, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Qantas Airways. These partnerships give WestJet Rewards members greater opportunity to earn WestJet dollars, particularly on routes that WestJet does not operate. To learn more about earning WestJet dollars with our airline partners, please see Our partners page.
WestJet offers two credit card options for earning WestJet dollars: the WestJet RBC® Mastercard‡ and the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard‡. Both card options give cardholders the opportunity to earn WestJet dollars on their purchases and help get you closer to your next trip. WestJet dollars earned on credit card spend are in addition to any WestJet dollars earned directly with WestJet or WestJet Vacations. See Our credit cards for details.
