Receipts

Need a receipt for your plane ticket or a purchase you made with WestJet? We have laid out some options to self-serve your receipt request.

Receipts for flights, seats and baggage

Please note: Paid baggage and seats receipts are found in the “other charges” section of your emailed itinerary receipt.

WestJet Rewards members

If you've traveled with WestJet and would like to obtain electronic ticket receipts for your past flights (up to 13 months), becoming a WestJet Rewards member opens up a world of benefits and convenience.

  • Simply Sign-In
  • Fill in First name, Last name and Email address
  • Note that upon submitting your request, all email addresses included on the booking may receive copies of the itinerary as well. 

Non WestJet Rewards members

If you're not a WestJet Rewards member, can't sign in at the moment, or didn't sign in when you bought your flight ticket, don't worry! You can still get your electronic ticket receipts within 3 days after your last flight. Just use our handy retrieve your itinerary and receipt tool. It's a breeze!

Unfortunately, if it has been more than 3 days since completing your entire trip we are unable to provide you with a receipt online or through our contact centre. Please check the email that was used during checkout for your itinerary confirmation and receipt. The 'sent from' email address you can search for is: noreply@itinerary.westjet.com. 

Please note: receipts cannot currently be issued for bookings made through non-westjet.com sites, WestJet Vacations bookings, or ancillary options (e.g. seat upgrade, baggage etc).

Non westjet.com bookings

For reservations booked through a travel agency or an online site, please contact the travel agency or online site to receive a copy of the ticket.

Retrieve your itinerary and receipt

To have your itinerary emailed to you, you need to:

  • have booked on westjet.com or through the WestJet Service and Sales Centre
  • provide the same name that was used to make the booking
  • provide the same email address that was used to make the booking

We cannot email your itinerary if:

  • the trip was booked through another online travel website
  • you booked through a travel agent
  • you booked using AIR MILES
  • the trip was more than three days ago
  • someone else’s email was used to make the booking

Please note that upon submitting your request, all email addresses included on the booking may receive copies of the itinerary as well. Unfortunately some itineraries cannot be retrieved online.


Receipts for WestJet Vacations

Please check the email that was used during checkout for your itinerary confirmation and receipt. The sending email address you can search for is noreply@itinerary.westjet.com.

Inflight receipts

If you made a food and beverage purchase on board and would like to obtain a copy of your receipt, we can help you with that. Simply select Find my receipt for onboard purchases.

Receipts will be available within three to 10 business days following your flight.

Tips for retrieving your online receipt:

  • Cardholder name: You can either provide your first or last name but cannot use any spaces or special characters such as hyphens. For example, "Jackie Miller-Dawson" can be entered as "Jackie" or "Miller" or, "Dawson."
  • Departure city: This field is optional. If you leave it blank it will help broaden your search. If used, you can enter the airport code, the city name or select a choice from the drop down menu.
  • We recommend expanding your flight date range to accommodate at least one week prior to your departure and one week after your arrival.
  • If you made a purchase using a pre-paid credit card, you can enter a portion of the name on the card. For example, A Gift for You can be entered as “Gift.”

If your receipt cannot be found online please contact us.

For onboard Internet purchases, an e-receipt was sent to the email you used to sign in. If you are unable to locate your e-receipt, please contact Panasonic, our Internet service provider, by email at customercare@panasonic.aero or toll-free at 866-663-5054

If you rented a tablet onboard and would like to obtain a copy of your receipt, we can help you with that. If your receipt cannot be found online please contact us.

For onboard duty free purchases, a receipt was provided at the time of purchase. If you are unable to locate your receipt and require a new one, please contact DFASS® Canada Company at 877-553-3277 or email customercare@dfassgroup.com.

If you upgraded to Premium while on board and would like to obtain a copy of your receipt, we can help you with that. If your receipt cannot be found online please contact us.

Upon the completion of your online pre-purchase order, an e-receipt was sent to the email address you provided at the time of your purchase. If you are unable to locate your e-receipt please contact prepurchase@westjet.com.
