Will definitely be back

Niamh M on Jun 11, 2025

We have just returned from 10 days at The Club and had a brilliant time, we are already looking at re-booking for next year! The hotel is lovely, brilliant layout, plenty of space and always a sun bed available. The cocktails are brilliant, all spirits used are branded and there is Banks and Deputy beer available. Food was also good, always fresh and the lunch/snack menu was particularly tasty. We didn't find the food repetitive, definitely in comparison with other all-inclusive although it seems menus repeat once a week. You could pick between eating at the Sunset Restaurant or Enid's which were both lovely settings. We enjoyed the rum bar and pool table within to have a good game and cool down from the sun. Room was clean and tidy with staff coming in every day if you wanted to give us fresh towels and make the bed etc. Room has a lovely Caribbean feel to it and although some may say it is run down we did not see this, but if you come expecting a 5* modern room you will be disappointed. The TV in the room was better than ours at home, seemed to be a new Samsung TV with Youtube, Netflix, Disney+ etc if you wanted it. Our only complaint with the room was that the balcony doors are not very sound proof. We struggled a little with the time difference from the UK and despite being in our early 20s wanted to come back to the room by about 10pm some nights and the entertainment was so noisy, some extra seal in the doors may be useful as they did not shut properly and therefore let in lots of noise. Although, entertainment was good, dancers/bands etc and it did always finish at 11pm and I expect most guests stay to watch the full entertainment so this won't be a problem for them. There was also Aqua Gym, morning walks etc for guests to take part in during the day. We loved the Steel Drummers on a Sunday afternoon and would have loved more daytime entertainment like this and also some music around the pools. We made use of the water-sports, went sailing and used the kayaks and paddle boards which was a lovely touch. You could change your pool/beach towels every day and the beach was less than a minute walk from the hotel pools. I really do not know how people can say this resort isn't on the beach when you have steps down to the sea on the hotel front and then one of the nicest beaches on the island within seconds from the hotel pools/restaurant. The hotel offers reasonable priced shuttles to see the horses at Carlisle Bay and also Oistins on a Friday. This was a nice touch. You can also walk into Holetown in about 10 minutes which we did a few times and looked around the village and local shops. Overall a brilliant stay and I am sure we will be back soon. Our only regret was not booking a seafront room as these rooms have the most amazing view and sunsets.

Fantastic Enjoyable Holiday

James L on Jun 09, 2025

Our holiday at the Club Barbados exceeded our expectations. One of the best holidays we have ever experienced. The manager was always busying herself and ensuring that the resort was clean, tidy and the staff were active in maintaining high standards. The food was excellent and the resort was in a lovely location in order to relax. We will be returning to this beautiful haven.

A wonderful place to stay . The Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The food was of a high standard and there was plenty of choice. A group of 8 of us ( all fellas) stayed . I hope the noise from us wasn’t too bad. Definitely coming back very soon.

It was a great first time

Jen8280 (Killingworth, Connecticut) on Jun 06, 2025

We had a great time. This was our first time to Barbados, and everyone was so nice. We traveled as a group of 6, with 4 different rooms. My husband and I stayed in an ocean front suite. We were assigned a ground level, and the view wasn't great, but the room was super clean thanks to Shonique! She was super polite and did a great job. The room: I was disappointed that there were no outlets in the bathroom to plug the hair dryer into. Weird. Other rooms in our group, some did some didn't. So it's not every room. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Resort: we did not like having to make reservations for dinner, even for the buffet, who makes a reservation for the buffet? Drinks were good, but they did run out of some stuff every now and then. Pools were refreshing and the daily water aerobics was great. We walked down to the beach in front of Sandy Lane with our floats, and floated in the ocean down there, it was so beautiful! We had a great time, the food and drinks were great, and the people were so nice! I would return to this resort if they updated the rooms.

Just got back from a 15 night stay it’s advertised as 4* it’s only a 3*max all inclusive limited selection of food had to book a time you want to eat at the hotel ran out of bananas for cocktails so people went to shop and bought their own to use in cocktails had tinned fruit salad on one afternoon no way a 4* hotel would would put tinned fruit out there is no beech attached to the hotel it’s a raised area with sand on only sun beds around pool have umbrellas for shade has two restaurants but one is closed on a Monday and Saturday wouldn’t recommend to stay here only thing good was the snorkelling and you felt safe outside the hotel complex
