Had the best time, met the nicest people (who were regular visitors, which speaks volumes), food was amazing, bar staff great, waitresses lovely. Best stay in Barbados so far!
Night entertainment could be repetitive however they did their best. Ended too early for me but that’s just my opinion. Some are happy to end at 10pm and hit the bed.
No regrets don’t listen to any bad reviews. You will have a ball. Shout out to ‘Selector’ at the outside bar, lovely lady playing great music. Shout out to Vincent too. I miss it and cannot wait to come back however heard there was a refurb going on soon after we left.
You will be along the famous Sandy beach. We took a free boat ride across and saw some celebrity homes. A must do. I would advise to bring some sea shoes as sometimes crossing the rocks can be uncomfy. I would also recommend Just Grillin which is not too far from hotel by foot. Great shrimps there! Yummy. Although this hotel you will rarely be hungry!
I am definitely that person who reads reviews, you will not be disappointed. Love ya long time!

The Club hotel was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!. The service was excellent the food at the restaurant was exceptional. The staff was so sweet and accommodating the room was beautiful the was a clear view of the ocean from the entire room which made it so special and fun to stay in. I had easy access to the gym, pool beach, water sports, spa, and tennis courts which made my stay even more marvellous. Also a special shout-out to the manager Caroline Hurly for being the best part of my visit to Barbados she was social kind she was the heart and soul of the club hotel.
Good hotel ????

It had good service, nice rooms with a mini fridge and water provided, no noise, quiet gym, nice pool, amazing oceanfront view, nice restaurant, really good management. Basically it was just an all around decent place to stay.

I stayed at The Club for the first time this week and had a fabulous stay. It started with check in after a flight with delays from Heathrow, they could see I was tired and stressed and did everything so well to let me relax and start my holiday. Friendly, efficient and fast - everything you would want.
As an all inclusive hotel I was unsure of food quality but by the next morning I was seeking out the chef to compliment him on a Caribbean shrimp curry that exceeded all expectations. This was followed by a breakfast where I asked for eggs royale with 2 poached eggs, and they are so happy to accommodate guest requests that I was brought eggs royale with 2 extra eggs on the side, but it was so good that I ate it all.
The restaurant staff are all so good that before you even know you want something they are there ready to serve you - the barrista and cake station was especially popular and had many visits.
I really cannot compliment the hotel enough from the location, pools and manicured gardens but in particular the smiling friendly staff who really made my stay wonderful.
The manager was there every day making sure things ran smoothly, greeting guests and making staff feel valued - they made me feel that I was the most important person there, and to make everyone feel that way is a very difficult thing to do but they pulled if off.
I will return as soon as possible and definitely recommend this hotel.
Glad to leave

We were booked for a 14 night stay. Almost as soon as we arrived we were worried. There seemed to be very few guests around. We asked to move rooms and this request was accomodated with no issues. It was one of very few positives to say about the place.
The new room was a 1 bedroom suite. The bedroom was gorgeous but the bathroom was simply awful. There was a tiny sink like one would find in a public toilet or powder room at home. Each side of the sink they had 2 shelves made out of clear perspex and attached to the wall with plain pieces of wood. Not what one would expect from a 4* hotel. The bathroom was a wetroom and set up for wheelchair access. There was rust marks running down the wall from some of the fitings in the shower area.
The majority of staff gave of an attutide that they couldn't care less. Simple requests took ages to arrive.
I have severe coeliac disease but the staff in the restaurant did not seem to understand what gluten was. I had to insist on speaking to the cook but this was with limited success.
Within 36 hours of arriving I began to be violently ill. I immeidately thought I had eaten gluten accidentlially. i had no choice but to stay in the room for most of the day and evening. It wasn't very long before myu husband also began to be very ill. It was then we realised it was food posioning. I contacted our travel agent and to our huge relief they liasied with the hotel and we were allowed to move to another hotel, albeit at extra cost. I had got quite friendly with one staff member and kept in contact with them after we left. They told me that another couple had also moved out due to food posioning around the same time as us. The staff member told us they had all been given 1 month's notice as the hotel was closing for a refurbishment at the end of June. I really hope that once they reopen they will employ staff who understand dietary needs and who have good customer service skills.
The hotel is advertised as being a beach front location. It is a waterfront location but there is no beach. There is a concrete area with sand covering it which overlooks the sea. It's possible to walk to Sandy Lane beach but this means no access to loungers, food or drinks. As stated previously, they are having a refit but this will have no impact on the fact there is no beach.
