Not perfect but recommended

We stayed at The Club for 18 days in November 2022. The first week of the holiday the hotel was quieter with no issues getting sun loungers or in to restaurants. This changed when occupancy shot up with long lines and waits for dinner despite having reservations. The food when you did get in was flavorsome and tasty both on a la carte evenings and buffet nights. Enids was a bit hit and miss and for us more miss than a hit. Our first experience entailed a long wait for main courses with people seated after us being served first and being served dishes we were told were all gone. Our second visit we were seated and waited for 15 minutes without being offered a drink or having our order taken. We left. All the staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Special mention to the ladies on the egg station at breakfast and grill at lunch who always made you smile as well as cooking your eggs to order. A small disappointment that the speed boat is was out of order so not water skiing or trips down the coast were available. When the hotel occupancy went up the sun lounger game was in full force with people putting towels out as soon as it was light. The Club is perfectly positioned for Holetown and the wide variety of bars and restaurants available a short walk away.
Good resort

We stayed at the club Barbados for a week in January. It is quite a small resort but we’ll designed and well run. It doesn’t have a beach of it’s own but at low tide you can walk round to the beautiful Sandy lane beach. The staff were all very helpful and friendly with the exception of the reception staff. This was a shame as they were our first and last contacts with the resort.

Just returned to the Club after 3 years. So lovely to meet up with old and new Staff All happy and smiling and very helpful. Caroline the General Manger a real star - always on hand to help and check on guests - The new sun beds and beach area great improvement . Had a brilliant Christmas and New year with good food . Gardens and pools well maintained We requested the room. We had had for many years and put up our Xmas decorations and settled in home from home Hope to return later in year for my 80th Birthday celebrations
Shabby chic that grows on you more and more during your stay.

We spent 2 weeks at the club from 18th November. It was a very friendly resort and it seemed many guests had stayed there before. Our garden room was nice with a balcony but if you can get one at the front that would be ideal. Housekeeping was a bit unpredictable but all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was terrific. Lots of choice at all meal times and consistently good. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed both table service evenings and buffet evenings equally. The pool and beach area were nice but places tended to be reserved earlier than we were up and about for. The garden where we went several times was nice. Although there were no places on the beach as such at the club you could go in either direction and find a spot on the beach and rent chairs and umbrellas very reasonably. The bar staff were always friendly and helpful, the evening entertainment good fun and a piano bar with a talented pianist for the night owls. We had a lovely holiday.
Fantastic break at The Club

Stayed at The Club, Barbados in November for 10 nights. I paid a supplement for a superior garden room, preferably on the ground floor, due to mobility issues. However, I was allocated a 4th floor loft room, with no lift. I can say the staff were excellent and the next day I was moved to a more suitable room. The room standard was very good, with maid service every day. The staff overall were excellent, very professional, but friendly and the General Manager, Caroline was always available to speak to face to face each day. Plenty of choices of food and drinks and the a la carte menus were fantastic. I travelled alone, but did not feel out of place. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.
